Truly blessed to be able to . Showing this how we reconstructed his little hand after a burn from 10 months ago. They waited all day to have surgery and had to be rescheduled due to her throwing up and not feeling the best. She was cleared the next day and they finally had surgery. He stayed with her the entire time. A true example of a blessed to be part of their journey to a functional hand. Surgery to follow in the future on stories!

First patient! the fingers were stuck together and he had surgery but it didn’t work so we re did the ! The calm before the pain.

👨🏻‍⚕️My name is Dr. Carlos Mata, also known as Dr. Scottsdale®! I am a board certified plastic surgeon located in Scottsdale, Arizona. I have a lovely wife and 2 little ones, Jordan and Jayden👨‍👩‍👧‍👦
🎓I graduated from Texas A&M in 2001 with a Bachelor’s in Biomedical Science, then earned my MD from University of Texas. I received my plastic surgery training from a variety of hospitals, including Harvard’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital. I also trained in Miami, working with experts in facelifts, eyelid surgeries, and breast surgeries.
🪖From 2011 to 2015, I served in the US Army as the Chief of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida.
✈️I try to dedicate time at least once a year to helping those in need in countries where healthcare is not as accessible. I have completed medical trips in a number of different places, including Ecuador, Guatemala, and Argentina! My favorite procedures to perform are Cleft Lip/Palate in babies👶🏻
💜In 2017, I opened up my own practice, Natural Results Plastic Surgery. My passion is to help people be their own kind of beautiful. I perform a variety of procedures from head to toe every day with the purpose to help restore confidence in individuals however I can.
In 2021 we introduced Dr. Benjamin to the team, and the rest is history!
