We will unfortunately be closed tomorrow, Friday 12/04/20 for repairs. Our entire plaza is getting repairs to the water line, so we have no water coming into the building. It’s such a bummer, bc we’ve overcome so much this year, and a simple yet major issue of not having water has put the business on pause. We will be contacting those that have online orders for Friday, and providing refunds or rescheduling you for a future date. We appreciate our team, and all of you that have been supporting and showing love. Thanks for giving us the strength and support to move forward with all that we do. Ordering for this weekend is now up! We learned a few things from our first weekend back. Our days and hours are now Friday - Sunday 7am - 12pm. We’ve had to cut down our menu and limit the number of donuts being made for the weekend in order to fulfill orders. Pretty much first come first serve. We can’t do the same business model we had before and still keep up, but we hope to find a better way of doing business with this new process. Thank you for your patience. We also learned one huge thing... A lot of you guys are truly here to support small businesses like us. 🙏 FYI we are finally doing HALF DOZENS!

We’re are now ready to take your orders ONLINE! We highly recommend ordering online in advance at least 48 hours prior to pickup to ensure your orders fulfillment. We will be only open on Friday’s, Saturdays and Sundays for the time being. We can take same day phone orders, but please expect waits of 20-30 minutes during our busy hours. Thank you! Gift Card Sale going up later today!!! A lot of you have been asking for gift cards to help support us during this time. We thought what better way to show some love back though by offering this sale. $20 cards for $15! $50 cards for $40. AND $100 cards for $80!!! First come, first serve. Our website will be going live officially today. (A clue to what time it will go live: “the first day we officially opened for business”) Gift cards can be used over the phone, or in store once we reopen our lobby. For the masses that didn’t read the last message and for those that ordered this morning on our website and probably went to pick up today. We are still currently closed. We were testing our website late last night and forgot to put it back on private. It’s good to know you guys are ready. We’re almost there. ❤️

😔😔😔This will be a tough post to write.
So after a super successful day, we came pretty close to selling out. Unfortunately our business is not equipped to take on the challenges of just doing phone and online orders. We need visibility to our donuts and access to our lobby. Unfortunately we can not have too many folks in our lobby at this time, and Our main priority is making sure our team stays safe and healthy. We tried and it was just too much on us. We will be closed indefinitely, starting Sunday 03/22/20.
The great news is knowing that you guys showed up for us. The support we saw today was phenomenal and we can’t thank you enough for the love. There are so many great small businesses out there right now that also need your help and support. Please find them and continue moving that same energy you’ve shown us, forward.
We are blessed with the life we live, the team that carries us through each day. We’ve experienced the better sides of humanity each day, and we see you walk through our doors everyday, giving us another chance to live a part of our dreams.

3 years of growth.

Since March 04 2016, we saw a lot of good people come and go. Dreamers just like us. Hardworking, caring, and fun people, most with exceptionally great attitudes. People, learning about life and trying to be better just like us. We all make mistakes, get frustrated, and sometimes have bad days, but we learn and we grow. We grow as individuals so we can grow as a team, a community, and a family.

We are so thankful and blessed that we decided a little over 3 years ago to start this business. We had no experience with starting a business and just enough information to get us going. We slept on a futon in the back of our shop for the first couple months, and showered at the local gym, just to save on time and the daily commute, 55 minutes no traffic and that’s only 1 way. Time was especially important because we would work about 15-17 hours a day. We made sacrifices to our mind, body and emotions, but would always remind ourselves that it would all be worth it for our future and our higher selves. Our souls and energy need to be here. We’re making it our purpose, whether we fully know where it will all end up.

Find your happiness and know what fulfills YOU. Love yourself first and share your energy with yours. Follow your passion even if you’re still working the 9 to 5. Speak well of others, and be kind to one another. Eating “hole” foods is ok, but eat way more whole natural foods. Trade your expectations for appreciation when possible. If your journey to love is a mile away, find a way to get there, but remember you don’t have to do it alone.

Annnd We’re back! Our Cranberry Joy and Apple Cider donuts will be making their final appearances this weekend before the years end. It was a great run for both these seasonal donuts! We’re looking forward to a fresh awesome year with new ideas but also of course some familiar donuts from the past as well. 😊

The Cranberry Joy is back as our “Schmancy” donut for December! It’s a cranberry iced yeast donut with chopped cranberries, white chocolate drizzle, and filled with an orange cream cheese filling.

Life is always good. Even with all of its problems, and challenges, Life is always good. Thank you for being a part of our lives and sharing your energy.

Tomorrow’s the last day for our Pecan Pie. It’s been a wonderful addition to our family of donuts, but we’re hoping to bring a little extra “joy” starting this Saturday.

It’s Small Business Saturday and we’re back to our regular scheduled program this morning! So glad we had a day off to spend with our family and friends! We’re also very grateful to have such great support from all of you whether it be on a day like Small Business Saturday or any day of the year! Much love to all! 📷:

The Local Donut presents “Adventure Down The Glazey River!” It took us some time, but we finally have shirts! We’re totally happy with the illustration our baker/illustrator .b.drawswell created. We’ll be selling these shirts for $25 in store, and soon online!

We are so excited to be a part of this event! There will be so many vendors there and we can’t wait to rub off on each other’s good energy. It’ll be good vibes for sure! Good vibes and good food! From donuts, to ice cream donut sandwiches, to sushi shaped as donuts and more! Loving everyone’s creativity!
