Canyonlands National Park (Canyonlands National Park), located in Utah.

The Wave is a sandstone rock formation located in Arizona, United States, near its northern border with Utah. The formation is situated on the slopes of the Coyote Buttes in the Paria Canyon-Vermilion Cliffs Wilderness of the Colorado Plateau.

Here the Brahminy Kite is demonstrating Kleptoparasitism. Kleptoparasitism is basically the art of stealing of food from an individual of the same or another species, is rather uncommon in birds. But kites commonly indulge in such piracy, especially the juveniles as they have yet to hone their hunting skills."

Malachite Kingfisher. Not my best photo of this incredible bird, but I just adore the colours in this photo so much to not ignore the flaws. I love it so much.

Just remember that there's no such thing as a perfect photo - it's something we're always striving for, but the reality is that perfection within an art-form is a myth. If a picture evokes something; such as a feeling or a memory - then it's still doing its job, regardless of the megapixels and sharpness etc.

A Snow Leopard’s thick metre-long tail assists with balance negotiating mountainous terrain and keeping warm.
It is thought Snow Leopard tails are so thick is they store fat to help them get through times when prey is scarce.
