In the spirit of Thanksgiving, us at Ate o’Clock want to express our gratitude to those who have made our restaurant what it is today. As a family-owned restaurant, we value and derive inspiration from each individual we work with.

We specifically want to thank Joe, one of our in house chefs and resident funny guy, for all the amazing work he has done for us. And to also greet him Happy Birthday 🥳 🎂 🎉

Thank you, Joe! (ขอบคุณครับ) 🙏🏽

Ate o’clock is proud to support to our local communities, in however way we can. That’s why we feel extra proud in sponsoring the Butter Boys! And they did not disappoint in setting the tone for season, with a 8-0 W 🙌🏽 keep the momentum!

At Ate o’Clock, we recognize the importance of supporting our community. That is why Ate o’clock has partnered with UW’s Zeta Psi fraternity soccer team, the Butter Boys 🧈. When they reached out to our restaurant, we thought it was a great opportunity to support Ate O’Clock’s best customers and supporters since day one ☝️. Keep an eye out for the Butter Boys this soccer season.

As a small token of appreciation, Ate O’clock has provided Zeta Psi, former fraternity, some spring rolls and Pad Thai. 🤤

Ate O’Clock’s “Meet the Team” 👀wherein we introduce members of our team 💪

Get to know Alan Matsen, one of Ate O’Clock’s owners and key person that oversees the restaurant’s main functions.

Q: What’s your favorite dish on the menu ?
- Pad See Eiw. It's the best dish and that's fact 🙌

Q: When you’re not busy working at Ate O’Clock, what do you like to do in your free time?
- Honestly, I don't really have a lot of leisure time since I have to balance the roles of being a student and business owner, on top of working full time. However, I do enjoy exercising, macro managing, and Netflix. I do have a secret hobby. The first one to guess it gets a meal on me. Leave a comment below 👇🏽

Q: What is your background experience?
- I am excellent with numbers! I have a lot of accounting experience and I am bringing that to the table. However, this is the first venture for me.

Q: What made you want to start this venture?
- Pear was the one who asked me to join her in ownership of this restaurant. It seemed like a no brainer to me because I always wanted to own a business. I am extremely excited!

Q: What do you do for Ate O’Clock?
- I’m mostly dealing with financial stuff, taxes, payrolls, etc. 💰

Happy Chinese New Year!!! All our noodle dishes are 10% off on our website 🧧 starting today through Sunday.

https://ateoclock-thairestaurant.square.site/

Fun fact: For Chinese New Year, people like to eat long noodles.

They are also called 长寿面 (cháng shòu miàn), which means “longevity noodles.” You aren’t allowed to cut them and should try not to chew either. The longer the noodle, the longer your life will be. This calls for a lot of slurping.
