Baby Elijah was born with a very rare medical condition that affects his heart and his trachea.
You would of been six months today ❤️
Not a day goes by that we don’t think of you
We love and miss you so much Elijah
Not a single day goes by that you aren’t on our minds. We miss you so much.
Elijah’s garden is coming to life!
We have been working hard on Elijah’s garden that I will soon share with you guys. This is one of my favorite projects as it’s front and center on our parents property and right where we always hold our family get togethers. We are so thankful to have something that will be apart and close to all our family get togethers and will serve as a reminder for our precious boy.
I’ve heard the saying that God turns graves into gardens and it’s stuck with me. It serves as a powerful reminder that Our God can take something horrible and turn it into something beautiful, this is shown over and over in his word.
We are so thankful that Elijah has touched and continues to touch so many people. He has touched our family in so many ways and I could not be more thankful to God for giving us Elijah.
Though the pain of losing him is unbearable, we know that there is an immense amount of beauty that has happened and is continuing because of his time here ❤️
Today we brought our sweet boy home, where he will be able to be with us always. It was a pretty hard day for our family, but we are so thankful for all the love and support we are all still receiving. We miss Elijah each and everyday and still feel so thankful that God gave us the time we had with him.
Welcome home our sweet boy ❤️
We love you more than you know
Because Elijah was rushed to the NICU after birth, we never got a chance to take a photo of him before his vent was place. It broke our hearts to never have gotten a picture of his face before he went to heaven without all the tubes and wires. My cousin Brooke created a photo for Christopher Hunton and Rachelle Marie Senining Hunton of our little Elijah without his tubes so we can see our sweet handsome boy ❤️
We are so enterally greatful for this gift, it means more to our family then we could ever possibly put into words.
We love and miss you Elijah, not a day goes by that we don’t think about you.
Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers today as we celebrate the life of our Elijah. 23 days was not nearly enough with you, but are forever grateful for the time we had.
We love you Elijah ❤️
Elijah’s gofundme is still up for donations to help Chris and Rachelle during this time ❤️
Elijah was called home to be with God this morning as the sun peaked over the mountain tops.
He was surrounded by our family and passed peacefully in his mothers arms. Elijah truly taught us how to never give up and to never stop fighting. He showed us how to be Elijah strong. He is and will forever be our miracle baby. Our family is in a state of shock and immense sadness but we are trusting in God and taking comfort in his promise that Elijah is made new and dancing in streets of gold. While we wish we had more time with him, we thank God for the 23 days we got with him. Elijah has touched so many lives in the short amount of time he graced us with his time here and will never forget a single moment of it.
Thank you to everyone who prayed for our Elijah, for everyone who reached out and fought along side us. We could never thank you enough for loving our boy and making his fight your fight.
Our family morns the loss of such a sweet angel, but rejoice knowing he is with God and all our passed loved ones and one day we will be reunited with him ❤️
Please pray for my brother Christopher and his wife Rachelle and our family as we will need it more than ever in the upcoming days. We ask God for peace that only He can give and strength to endure such an immense loss.
We love you Elijah, more than you will ever know in this life. Our lives will never be the same without you, thank you for teaching us how to be
We will leave Elijah’s Gofundme up for anyone who would like to help support Chris and Rachelle as they navigate the future, all money raised currently will go to Chris and Rachelle❤️
Please pray for Elijah and Our family
Our God is the King of Kings, the Alpha and Omega, The Beginning and The End. He knew Elijah before he was formed in his mothers womb, He knew his name before it was even spoken. I know He alone is in control of Elijah’s future. We praying for God to move in Elijah’s life
Please pray for healing, for strength, and for peace ❤️
I know God has some big plans for this mighty little warrior. After receiving the call that they didn’t think Elijah was going to make it, our family rushed to the hospital to be with him. Elijah clearly has other plans because he is still fighting hard! Elijah is in STABLE CONDITION as of right now. He continues to amaze us with his fight and I know God is holding him in his arms.
I truly believe in the power of prayer and I believe each and every one of you are making a difference for our little man.
His fight is far from over but we are rejoicing over our victories one battle at a time.
Thank you Jesus!!!
Elijah’s big brother wrote him a letter to hang up by him, it reads “ Dear Eli, I hope you survive this fight. You are stronger than us, you can do it!”
Thank you for loving our boy and keeping him in your daily prayers. Please continue praying for our little warrior, his family, and his medical team. They are working so hard ❤️

‼️My prayer warriors we need your help ‼️
Elijah took a turn last night and has been very unstable. He’s fighting so hard but his co2 numbers are high and his oxygen sats keep dropping. They are working hard at stabilizing him enough to do surgery to stent his fistula to open it up and provide a better airway.
Please be praying they can stablize him
Our Elijah is not giving up yet and we aren’t either.
Please also pray for my Brother and his Wife, they have been by Elijah’s side non stop and are fighting so hard for him.
Elijah had a great day for his Co2 numbers. They stayed nice and low like they like to see them. He is still currently on the oscillator, and plan to keep him on it for a few more days so he can grow some more. Our medical team is meeting this week to discuss a long term plan for Elijah’s care. They’ve been in contact with some doctors from Wisconsin that are helping with Elijah’s case and we will also hear their plans as well.
Please be praying Elijah’s airway remains stable and that he continues to grow ❤️
Elijah’s numbers have been doing good today, he was still using the conventional ventilator for most of the day. He was put back on the oscillator later in the night, but otherwise he is cruising steady. Elijah celebrated his first 4th of July today ❤️🤍💙
The NICU nurses made him this cute little sign to hang on his bed today. We are so thankful for our awesome medical team who has been taking such great care of our boy.
Thanking God for another great day with our boy and that he continues to stay stable ❤️
Happy 4th of July everyone ❤️🤍💙
Hey everyone! Tshirts have arrived ❤️ We will be selling t shirts and all proceeds will go to Elijah’s medical bills! T-shirt’s are $20. If you are interested in purchasing one please comment or DM.
Elijah had an awesome day with his Co2 levels. They are the best they have been yet which has us feeling so hopeful for things to come. Today was another rest day so Elijah can recover. They are slowly lowering his sedation so they have his ears plugged so he doesn’t get overwhelmed all at once. Doctors are waiting for Elijah to have another bowl movement so they can start giving him some breast milk to see how he does. Our little man is such a fighter and continues to amaze us everyday.
God continues to bless us with more time with our little man and continues to show us his mercy and grace! God is so good and we know he is walking beside us in this journey ❤️
We are so thankful to everyone who has reached out to us and offered words of encouragement and support. We thank everyone who has been praying daily for Elijah and are following along in our journey.
Thank you to everyone who has donated to Elijah’s gofund me for his medical bills! If are looking to help with Elijah’s bills our gofundme is linked in our bio.
Elijah’s Co2 levels spiked earlier today but doctors have since been able to bring them back down into safe levels. Gammy and Pappa came and visited little man today, he is so incredibly loved by them.
We are still waiting for the next plan to scope down to his fistula to get a better look at things, but for now, Elijah is just resting and we are enjoying these calmer days with family.
Please continue praying Elijah’s fistula stays stable ❤️
Today was a good day- Daddy got to hold Elijah for over an hour! Days like today we are so grateful to be able to slow down a little and just spend some time with our little boy. He is gaining weight like a champ and keeping his Co2 levels in a good range. We are so proud of how far he has come and just feel extremely blessed to have these little moments as a family with him. Mavrick (orange) and Christopher Jr. ( blue) love their baby brother so much already. We are so thankful for the time God has given us with our boy and are looking to a hopeful future for our little warrior.
Thank you for continued prayers and support. We could never thank you guys enough.
Daddy got Elijah’s cross taped up ❤️
Elijah is doing so good today, his CO2 levels are staying in the normal range which is very good. The doctors think the plan today is let Elijah rest after switching his breathing tube yesterday to the bigger one and maybe try to scope a camera down tomorrow
Update !!!
So today was a good day for baby Elijah, he got to visit with his family this morning then after the doctors decided to switch him to a larger breathing tube and he did really well with that. The doctors want to scope down his esophagus hopefully tomorrow to maybe see his fistula better so prayers Elijah continues to fight and hold on strong like the little warrior he is ❤️
Thank you everyone for all the prayers and support we have received from people all over, it means the world to us ❤️
Calling all our Prayer warriors !!!
our biggest concern is Elijah is completely relying on his fistula to provide his airway from his esophagus to his lungs..the doctors are very concerned it could collapse, we need heavy prayers that it remains open and strong so the doctors have time to figure out a permanent stable airway. Elijah keeps fighting hard so please join our fight in petitioning God for a miracle ❤️
!!
Since the start of Elijah’s journey God has helped guide us through every hurdle and trial that has come our way, every time we hear this song it reminds us just how many miracles God keeps moving for our little boy and God will always be there for us no matter what ❤️

Medical Bills for Elijah, organized by Alisha Healey Hi, my name is Alisha Healey and I’m trying to raise medical expense funds for my brother C… Alisha Healey needs your support for Medical Bills for Elijah
Elijah just got done with Surgery, the doctors said he did really good and is heading into recovery !
Thank you Jesus for all the amazing things you have done and continue to do for our boy ❤️
We will post more updates as soon as we can
!!
‼️UPDATE‼️: Elijah is out of surgery! The doctors said surgery went well and he is recovering! Thank you Jesus!! Thank you!!
Elijah is headed into his 2nd surgery this morning, please be praying over his medical team, Elijah, and his parents and family! We anxiously wait to see him after his surgery. They will be closing off his stomach and using his esophagus as his airway until he is a little older. Elijah will be fed by a feeding tube until they can decide how to move forward in the future. This surgery is considered High risk- Please please please pray❤️ I will update when he is out!
Baby Elijah was born with a very rare medical condition that affects his heart and his trachea. Elijah has ASD and VSD which because of the size are creating one large hole in his heart between all 4 chambers. Shortly after birth, it was discovered that Elijah does not have a trachea but a fistula off his esophagus that connects to his lungs. Because of this, any type of fluid from his stomach is being pushed into his lungs and causing pneumonia.
Elijah is to undergo surgery tomorrow to close off his stomach and turn his esophagus into a trachea for the time being. Doctors from across the country are working hard at developing a long term plan for Elijah, but we are at the start of a very long journey.
Elijah is such a warrior and is fighting so hard for his life. Please keep sharing his story and praying for him and my brother Chris and his wife Rachelle as we battle along side their baby boy ❤️
I will be using this page to keep everyone updated on his progress as we push forward.
I have setup a Gofundme page for Elijah’s medical expenses. As you can imagine, the bills are ever growing and we are just at the start of this journey. We are hoping to raise enough to take some financial burden off Chris and Rachelle so they can focus all their time and engery into fighting for their boy.
EVERYTHING makes a difference from shares, prayers, and donations.
Thank you from my whole family for all the love and support and for going to war for Elijah.
