Your baby’s bedtime will naturally become earlier as your child grows. You can help speed up this transition by closing the blinds in the evening, using soft light in the house (yellow, orange, red hues), and ensuring your sweet babe gets lots of natural light in the early morning. These tricks help set your little’s internal clock and melatonin levels. You’ll likely notice that your baby is ready for an earlier bedtime once they start napping for extended periods in the early evening!

Let's unlock the secrets of breastmilk!Foremilk is present at the beginning of a feed, is rich in carbohydrates, and comes in a larger volume, offering hydration and a quick energy boost for your baby.

Both foremilk and hindmilk play essential roles in nourishing your little one!

Breastfeeding is a unique journey for every mom and baby pair. While some mothers have a beautiful, easy, and natural experience, others find it overwhelming and stressful. 🤱✨ Understanding the nuances of supply and demand is key, but did you know that the quality of your baby’s suck plays a crucial role too?
Tongue ties can significantly impact your baby's ability to breastfeed effectively. A tongue tie restricts the movement of the tongue, affecting how your baby stimulates your breast tissue and ni**le. This stimulation is vital for triggering hormones like prolactin (for milk production) and oxytocin (for milk letdown).
If your baby struggles with a tongue tie, it may lead to sore ni**les, damaged tissue, and even a decreased milk supply. It’s essential to recognize the signs and seek support early on.

Let's talk numbers. A successful sleep schedule hinges on the right balance of daytime and nighttime hours. On average, babies need around 12-13 hours of daytime sleep and 11-12 hours of nighttime sleep. For instance, if your baby wakes up at 7:30 am and you attempt to put them to bed at 6:00 pm, they may seem tired but struggle to fall asleep. This could be because they haven't accumulated enough daytime hours to feel adequately tired for bedtime. A more suitable bedtime would be around 7-8 pm, giving them the right amount of daytime.

It was like yesterday, my daughter took too big of a bite of her sandwich and began to choke. In that heart-stopping moment, instincts kicked in, and thanks to knowing what to do, I was able to act quickly. Soon enough, she was safe in my arms, tears replaced by relief and hugs that seemed to last forever. That experience solidified something crucial for me: the importance of being prepared. That's why I'm thrilled to share my free choking facts e-book with you. Whether you're a parent or caregiver, this guide is designed to empower you. It covers everything from how to tell the difference between choking and gagging, and common childhood choking hazards.

We've all heard the age-old advice: "Never wake a sleeping baby." But what if I told you that sometimes, waking your little one could actually benefit them (and you!)?It's all about finding the sweet spot between being under-tired and over-tired. On average, babies need around 12-13 hours of daytime sleep and 11-12 hours of nighttime sleep.
A baby that is under-tired hasn't built up a sufficient sleep drive, so they likely will resist sleep simply because they're not tired enough. A baby that is over-tired is in their fight, flight, or freeze state making it hard for them to settle down in order to fall asleep.
Comment SLEEP below and I will send you my free e-book where I break down awake times and provide you with sleep schedules from 3-12 month of age helping you both get more sleep!!
