π² Next up: our RTT interns who spend their first year of residency in Seattle before heading over to Port Angeles, WA. During that year, their home clinic is the Cherry Hill Family Medicine Clinic.
β¨οΈ It's always a bittersweet farewell when they head out to PA, but always a wonderful reunion when we see them during retreats and other resident events/hangouts. β£οΈ

π We've had many questions on our curriculum. We are an inpatient heavy, OB heavy program that has an extensive and diverse curriculum to prepare you to work in any area within Family Medicine.
π Still, our curriculum is ever changing as we continue to integrate resident/faculty feedback and advocate for wellness and improvement.

At our residency, we believe physicians have the responsibility to engage in activism in the face of injustice. We hold space for advocacy in its many forms: direct action/protest, teach-ins, calling on our elected leaders. We believe in the power of learning, mobilizing, and healing in community.

π Every October, Cherry Hill FMR has their resident-wide retreat!
π This is protected work-time for all our faculty, residents, and families to get together for some well-deserved wellness time.
π We arrive at Fort Worden Historical State Park in Port Townsend on Friday afternoon/evening. Our residency takes over one of the large cabins with beach and mountain views.
