14 years ago, my life was broken, I was addicted to drugs and alcohol, wasn’t working, I was a wreck. The lord spoke to me through our son and we went to where pastor and led a church that moved me. We are so honored to have come to Awakening Music Festival this year and bring a fiery word of hope to our city.

Whether sharing the gospel in foreign nations, digging wells in Cambodian villages, raising funds to rescue lives sold into slavery, providing school supplies to young people, feeding hundreds every week or setting prayer atmospheres in homes across this land with her prayer CD, Melinda is a leading woman for all ages and stages.

Lead pastor of the Rock Church with her husband Jeff for 24 years, Melinda Knight is a prophet, psalmist and song-writer. She’s a speaker, mother and friend. She’s a personal-trainer and an all-around lover of people, and loves the cattle ranch too!

Melinda has been alongside her husband Jeff for 33 years enduring the tragic death of his parents in an airline crash, who were also the founding pastors of the church she now leads. Battles with tragedy and infertility have driven her to know the Father in a powerful way. The miracles, glory of God and beautiful mountaintop experiences come through in her messages and songs, and are continued evidences of the smile of God upon her journey

Wendy Palau is a gifted evangelist, leading outreaches to women around the world as a part of Palau Festivals and media campaigns that reach millions each week through daily Hope with God radio programs and digital strategies. Her book, Stories of Hope, is an anthology of diverse stories from women around the world, highlighting how they found hope in Christ amidst their darkest moments.
An active contributor to the Palau Association’s digital evangelism and discipleship ministry, she regularly shares the Gospel with warmth and insight into where the hope of Christ intersects with the universal struggles of people everywhere.
Wendy shoulders a burden for the brokenhearted, born out of her own experience of loneliness, pain, and loss. While raised in a loving home on the island of Jamaica, her heart sought fulfillment and peace in all the wrong places. At 25 years of age, God radically changed her life, and she found the true joy she had been longing for. She and her husband, Andrew, have since dedicated their lives to sharing this message of hope with hurting people around the world. Wendy and Andrew have three children, Christopher, Jonathan, and Sadie. They live in Portland, Oregon.
