This bright and happy MCM kitchen won 3rd place in the Open Plan Kitchen category in the NKBA Puget Sound Design Competition. With so many projects entered into the same category and the exceptional designers in our area, we feel very honored to have placed among such a talented group of designers.
Happy Friday! Fun article in the Seattle Times (also coming out in the Sunday Seattle Times At Home section) about Themed Rooms. You'll find a D & D Powder Room in there ;-) Thank you Jennifer and Pete for your awesome ideas and the opportunity to design such a cool space!!!
So, what can NW Home Designers design for you?

Tile Tuesday 💭
This Edge Arch Mosaic by Edge Tile and Stone has us day dreaming with its serene yet captivating pattern. I adore the elegance of the repeated shape that becomes highlighted by the grout color. This lovely bathroom is a great example of utilizing this tiles beauty by covering the whole wall.

It’s so exciting when clients ask us for fun lighting options! I came across the perfect wall/ceiling light to make a simple yet bold accent in their space. It’s great to have a few different color options to create an opportunity to think outside the box. I love the use of two colors on the same wall, almost like artwork on display.
Tile Tuesday capturing the luster of glass mosaics 🌻
The world of tile continues to amaze me as I search for new inspiration and find STUNNING glass mosaic fireplaces. I’m mesmerized by each tile creating its own world of reflective light no matter what color or shape.
This weeks Tile Tuesday has us *blushing* 😊
Our love of Zellige and a soft pink has us gushing over this whimsical tile!! Reminiscent of Himalayan Pink Salt walls, this tile has elegant variation in color, size and finish. Bringing a playful yet relaxing vibe to your home. You could put this anywhere from a primary bathroom, powder room, beverage bar backsplash, or even main kitchen!

This lovely project was a collaborative effort with architect Eric Gedney, design by NWHD and built by Harjo Construction.

Wallingford Second Story Addition & Artist Loft - Harjo Construction Architect Eric Gedney was the Architectural Designer for this project and Roshele Allison was the Interior Designer. Challenges to construction included storing a large couch prior to window installation, but then suspending it for the hardwood floors to be installed.

I love retractable doors in a kitchen that hide those needed small appliances or a hidden bar in a kitchen. This client wanted NOTHING to be seen from the rest of the open living space. Therefore the design includes 3 tall cabinets (and a Butlers Pantry) to hide the mess. @ Seattle, Washington
Deciding on paint colors for cabinets for a kitchen remodel isn’t always the easiest task. But Canyon Creek has made it a lot easier by sending me paint samples to look at.
