· Allsteel Mural provides desktop connectivity. With distinctive built-in power bays, it offers state-of-the-art adaptability with easy move bases, and endless configuration and customization options.
· The Normann Copenhagen Mat chair was made with a zero waste approach. Built from sustainably harvested eel grass, h**p, manufacturing offcuts, and repurposed industrial materials, it is one of the most sustainable (and stylish 😉 ) contract grade chairs on the market.
· Up to 20% of the world’s population is neurodivergent. Inclusive design takes into account neurodiversity, trauma informed design, and physical diversity. The aim is to create spaces and interactions that validate individuals’ experiences and empower them, making pathways for maximum creativity and innovation.

July marks Disability Pride Month. To shed light on this universal cause, our DEI team and Insiders shared stories and resources with one another, with the plan to continue building awareness and access all year round.
Particularly relevant to our line of work, the ADA helps us build workplaces to reduce harmful barriers for those with disabilities. We spoke to a few Insiders who gave us on their insights on how ADA compliance informs our work.
“Allsteel and Insidesource hosted two Trauma Informed sessions for A+D firms. We discussed the role of designers and space planners to consider the experience of all different types of people and then create safe spaces for re-regulation in the workplace.” -Susan Stinnett, VP Sales.
“The overarching mission of ADA is to ensure civil rights for people with disabilities by taking measures that make public spaces accessible for everyone. For designers on our Architectural Products team, and especially for health care, this means state and local code really becomes our guide to ensure compliance is met. Design is driven by a hierarchy of needs, and accessibility compliance is always paramount.” -Paul Van Zanen, AP Design Manager
We are also pleased to donate to the Disability Rights Fund, which supports the work of the global disability rights community.
As we continue to make inclusive design a norm in our industry, we look forward to learning more to build safe and supportive workplaces for all.

Our highly anticipated trade show trends 2024 article is here!
Attending seven trade shows across five countries, the feeling of excitement around creativity and innovation was palpable.
From Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York, to London, Milan, Stockholm, and Copenhagen, we explored thousands of products and displays from world-renowned design leaders, as well as emerging companies and creatives.
Our key takeaway: sustainability is here to stay. We were thrilled to see so many companies make significant and meaningful changes, whether it was exploring recycled, recyclable, and biodegradable materials, to certifications such as B Corp and Cradle to Cradle.
On top of responsible design, we saw a lot of fun design! Embracing the idea of wellness through inspiring spaces, many companies leaned into whimsical and playful themes with bright colors, bold patterns, and fun shapes.

Holy cow, we love Pt. Reyes Farm!
Last week we took a small group of clients and partners on a field trip to picturesque Point Reyes Farmstead Cheese Company on the stunning California coast.
Andrea Gauss of Allsteel/HNI Corporation joined us to lead a discussion on sustainability, and we also heard from the owners of the family and women-run farm, who shared some of their sustainability practices. From a methane powered water recycling system, to land conservation and partnering with small local businesses, Pt. Reyes Farm is regarded as the gold standard in sustainable farming.
Insiders and guests snacked on the highest quality cheese and bites around. A “garnish your own drink” station was a hit, offering several fresh fruits and herbs for folks to choose from. Guests left with eco-conscious coolers filled with delicious Pt. Reyes cheeses.
Thank you to Pt. Reyes Farm for going above and beyond to host us, and to those who joined us for this new and unique event in such an inspiring place. We look forward to more like it!
Check out our + experience… in under 40 seconds!
We saw so many cool products this year, but we were most impressed by manufacturers stepping up their sustainability game. It feels great to know we share the same values and goals as our vendor partners who are evolving, just like us.
Thank you to all who joined us, exploring the exhibits with our clients makes the experience even more valuable… and way more fun!
It was inspiring, educational, and made us even more excited for the future. Cheers to another successful NeoCon + Design Days, and to taking another step towards building a better future.
Stay tuned for more trade show content, coming soon.
Today, we celebrate Juneteenth, a day that marks the end of slavery in the United States and honors African American freedom and achievement.
As we reflect on this significant milestone in our history, it gives us the opportunity to further our commitment to equality, inclusion, and justice in our communities and our workplaces.
At Insidesource, we believe in the power of diversity and the importance of recognizing our collective history. Together, we can be a part of building a better future for all.

Happy Pride!
This June, we highlight togetherness and were inspired to include Pride themes from several cities across our regions. They include:
NYC - Reflect. Empower. Unite.
SF - Beacon of Love
Seattle - NOW!
Portland - Life as Art
Each of our showrooms has a poster displaying our Pride graphic, along with post-its for Insiders to share what Pride means to them. Insiders have been writing messages of kindness on our Pride postcards to be sent to nonprofits in each of our regions to show our support.
Last week we also had the pleasure of attending With Confetti History of the LGBTQAI+ Movement virtual learning session.
Thank you to our DEI Team for planning thoughtful activities that connect us with our LGBTQ+ community and each other. Shoutout to our EMEA office in London for sharing your beautiful Pride poster!

Global Furniture Group Collaborative Spaces
Another fantastical Pinterest project for the books, this time their new headquarters in Dublin, Ireland.
Inspired by Ireland's rich culture and lush green landscapes, their new space was designed to inspire collaboration and creativity.
One of our favorite areas, The Celtic Forest, features an awe inspiring tree installation surrounded by greenery and nature elements, including sounds that actually sync with the weather outside. The immersive experience includes a variety of work settings, from collaborative to heads-down retreats.
Read more about the space in the article from the Irish Times linked below.
