Hello from the Marketing and Philanthropy Department's gingerbread neighborhood! Winter is a busy season at Sound Generations, so we're grateful when we get to rest. We hope everyone is having a warm holiday season.

As we get into the heart of the holiday season, let's take a breath.

This time can be challenging for some members of our community, especially those dealing with loss or loneliness. It's an issue that disproportionately affects our aging population. A simple smile, meal, or moment of human connection can make a huge difference.

There are many things we're grateful for this holiday season. The way our community shows up for older adults in King County is one of them! Thank you to Haggen for the big check, and to all the shoppers who donated to make this support happen. .

The numbers are in! This year, we raised a total of $28,338.51 as part of Giving Tuesday. Thanks to our recurring donors, the total impact is projected to be as much as $31,000.

We are continuing to highlight Meals on Wheels and our programs through the end of the year. Thank you, thank you for your support.
