In case you didn't know - YOGOMAN is a happy alien from the Planet Yog, sent down by fellow aliens to remind the humans how to celebrate life through the infectious dance music of Yogoman Burning Band. Willing vessel Jordan Rain has let the alien Yogoman form inhabit his body for the band's performances, making it a positive other worldly experience for their audiences.

I recently found out that not only Nicky Minaj but Beaniac Coffee Roasters both bit my style over a decade after Yogoman Burning Band's third studio album Beam Me Up came out, not only in title, but color (pink), UFO, and nearly font on the coffee roast. I did riff on Captain Kirk's original phrase from Star Trek obviously, but for an artistic concept, as far as I know, I'm pretty sure I was well ahead of the game. I need a really good lawyer.

Thanks again to Munchen Haus for hosting us for their Oktoberfest kick off last night. We had a great time playing music at this classic Leavenworth establishment, connecting with locals, tourists, and old fans and friends. Here is a great example of a business dedicated to customer service and doing something positive for the environment.

Only Seattle Show of the summer tour is this Friday at the Owl n Thistle - 808 Post Ave. in Pioneer Square, 9pm, Free. This was another great year of Island Rock for YBB (San Juan, Lopez, Guemas, Whidbey, Lummi) with a great musical crew. A few more shows before heading south for the winter. ❤️🙏🥹:

WIN A VINYL: Does anyone out there have a one of the original CD’s i silkscreened that is in good quality? We are getting closer to sending off to press vinyl and we need a high res photo or scan of one to blow up to 12” record cover size. If you would be willing to locate and either take a good scan or photo of it (300dpi or MORE would be ideal because we have to increase the size a bit), or let me borrow it temporarily to capture it with Black Noise Record’s graphic designer. Selected copy in the next week and you’ll receive a vinyl when it comes out and it will be the cover everyone sees! Thanks!

Here is one of the original (2nd wave) of CD’s i silkscreened w/ booklet initially back in 2003/2004 when ‘9 Jordan Rain Song’ was released on CD. There were different versions of the booklet, 1st run was more primitive with staples 😂, which is essentially liner notes and a ridiculously long thank you list to all my friends and possible influences on this album. Not sure the vinyl will have this as an insert or not (cast your vote here), but I only need to raise $500 more to get 500 vinyls pressed which I know I can move, and is a WAY better deal than pressing 250. If I reach my ultimate goal which would be $1500 more, then I could pay a publicist to help me get it reviewed and into National/international music publications, blogs, etc (aka more recognition). I wouldn’t ask for this support if I thought it wasn’t worthy, but it is a really great and repeatable listen which will be so great to listen to on vinyl. Thank you all for considering contributing anything to the go fund me (search ‘9 Jordan Rain Song’ there) or I’ll leave a link in the comments. $30 or more gets a vinyl signed and mailed or delivered at one of our shows next year.❤️😘🙏

We have a few open dates in September. The crew with Adam Greenberg on Guitar and Adam Edwards-Bond on Bass w/ Yogofam sounds super delish w/ natural chemistry! Would love more folks to be able to see this iteration. I would like to manifest one show in Vancouver, B.C., one more show in Bellingham, Washington, and one show in Seattle, Washington. If anyone wants to have a house concert, yard/boat/farm/etc party, let us know asap.

Somehow, casting my net for help to get this PNW indie LoFi masterpiece album pressed to vinyl and publicity funds to help spread the word about this into the ears of more people was frozen and I’m hoping you can help me get it unstuck as it ends at the end of the month.
