Today, we will celebrate the faithfulness and goodness of God as my time in fulltime ministry comes to a close. I have served as a youth pastor, music minister and lead pastor for over 27 years - the last 19 years have been in Seattle. I have been so blessed to serve in these places and these people-

So proud of Tim Smith, former associate at SFC, who was ordained into the Wesleyan denomination last night. Tim and Bree are traveling to Colorado to pastor a church in Estes Park.

This week's update July 1, 2022 1 Endow the king with your justice, O God,     the royal son with your righteousness. 2 May he judge your people in righteousness,     your afflicted ones with justice.

Today I announced my retirement from full time ministry in Seattle.
My family is relocating to Ridgefield, Wa to be closer to Lora’s school for the blind. My parent’s (Art and Dottie) are moving with us- and we are having a multi generational home built. Christa Daniels Woodward has the opportunity to work from home (or coffeehouses).
Our house will be ready mid September- and we plan for my last Sunday and retirement to be September 11,2022. I have lived half my adult life in Seattle and we deeply love this city. We have spent 19 years in ministry to this city- and I think it has blessed us more than we have given to it. We both weep and rejoice in the new adventure. Pray for us as we navigate new waters.
