Loving the herringbone pattern on this mantle refresh we are doing as part of a full house remodel.
We replaced the builder grade shiny granite and it immediately adds a level of sophistication and specialness to the space.

So... THIS IS HAPPENING! Tiling the chair side of the under counter island feature in an awesome kitchen in Blue Ridge area of Seattle. Thank you to my friends at for making this tile based on sound waves. Just amazing!

From the Snohomish project by . After installing real Silvan wood laminate from with a new modern rail system and spiral crystal chandelier, it sure does change the vibe to a more modern feel.

If you know me -I love preserving MCM design details. However, this was a tough one. The clients and I loved the original stone on the fireplace. The problem was that it was not in good repair or entirely in alignment with the story we have built around the home. With much of the budget spent, I took it upon myself to do a century's old process of applying a limestone slurry to the stone that evens out some of the defects and provided a more timeless look to this anchoring element.
The limestone chemically bonds with the stone and, unlike paint, breaths with the material. After application, I used several special techniques to thin the coating so as to allow the shadows of color come to the surface, creating a much more interesting tonal quality.

Design is a visual and emotional story often best developed in collaboration. And WOW- There is often magic when the client jumps in and wallpapers one of the rooms you just finished for them.

In the demolition of older homes, we often find these. There is a small open slot in the back of older medicine cabinets that was designed for users to dipose of their used razor blades- right into the wall behind the cabinet. I have never seen this amount - truly amazing!

We are popular with our real-estate prep projects- but more and more we are taking point on full major design-driven quality-focused projects. This is where our teams craftsmanship gets to really shine. For this project we are finaly moving out of the "structure" and moving into the beauty. Each step forward is another in the direction of beauty and craft. And... all that beauty couldn't be as beautiful without the thousands of choices and hard work that no one but us and the client will ever see.

New House numbers mounted on the eminently Pacific Northwest- Teredo Wood. A little signature detail we often do on the houses we detail premarket! Teredo is a wood boring clam that is often called a ships worm that live their entire life in water soaked logs. This lumber comes from the log booms that were used to transport logs across water in huge floating log islands. Thank you for making this material available.

Not everything needs to be New to look Great. A little restoration, some New, A Lot of effort and craft helped transform this sweet kitchen for some very pleased clients.

Progress update on a delightful basement remodeling adventure we are on. We kicked out all of the spiders in this 100+ year old former storage and workroom. It will be an adorable bedroom. Can't wait! Carpet next week and then... the delicious wallpaper from .

This project has been such a grand adventure. Delightful clients. Beautiful materials. Great teamwork. Can't wait to share more! We will be having this one professionally photographed after some furniture (ordered months ago) arrives in November. Major teamwork on a project rich in details! Making a well built home one that is better for quality living.

The same but... totally different. Studs out remodel of one of my favorite kitchens. My team at POP Property Services knocked this one out of the park. I truly am so proud and grateful to my team- to say it takes a village is an understatement

After a proper gutting the the original 1970's PNW modern kitchen space- this now blank slate is going to be so SPECIAL. Black walnut cabinets, grey fish scale tile backspash, pental quartz marble looking countertops, French oak flooring and some super fun lighting. We are all so excited about it!

It really is the details that bring a project together. Reclaimed teredo wood (ship clam) coat hook for a clients mudroom.

This was a tired and dated rental before we got to the work of it. It is going to go quick.
Would have loved to have done more but we were keeping our budget tight to give the client the best return on their investment with our team.
