Was a double header last weekend so I am pretty tapped out today, but had to share this end of night shot from Jenny & Alex's wedding at and produced by Kara and her team.

A few getting ready photos as we get ready for another full weekend for the team.

Can't believe it's going to be Fall soon. I know, I know. It doesn't seem like we got our full deal of summer but here's hoping it will stick around for a few more weeks!

Been getting some requests for family photos in my inbox so I thought I'd throw this up to get those October and November dates lined up. I won't be doing a day of minis this season because weather is always tricky in the fall.

If there’s one thing I pride myself on with my biz all these years, is that I’ve managed to meet some Really Good People.

People like Greg and Tony, with whom I clicked IMMEDIATELY over zoom. Warm and genuine, caring and gracious from the get, I just wished I’d known them sooner. And if you can judge someone from the people they surround themselves with, Greg and Tony have created a loving community full of real joy, the kind that you know was found in unexpected places, bonds so strong you know they’ve been through some tough times together and love that expands to include, no questions. They take a beat when they hug, close their eyes to take in the air that they breathe together, and exhale as if to say, “I am so glad to be with you.” And you know that is exactly what they feel because you feel it too.

It is such a privilege to be a documenter of weddings, to observe from behind a camera all these interactions and emotions, an excuse to stare and admire and perhaps feel a little envious and a little in wonder. To see with your own eyeballs that this - THIS - is real. These people have nary a false bone in their bodies, just grateful to have found love at a bar 16 years ago, survived tragedy and COVID and all the stuff in between, to arrive at this day of celebration.

Hand in hand to forever and beyond, with a dog to call their girl and a community to see them through.

I love both and everything in between. I often vibe with what my clients envision, see where it takes me. I seek what the old masters seek, which is good light, and hope someone will let me take their photo because when you find good light and there's nothing and no one to photograph? Agony. You're a photographer if you know what I'm talking about.

Happily, this time, someone was already there. My little client, sweet miss L.

I've been seeing these copper glassware pop up in three weddings now and LOVE! Fall is coming and I hope I see more.

Every year, I get to photograph these aspiring models at for my friend . Always a fun and refreshing experience to play and create something else to expand my palette and artist’s mind. Thanks for another colorful project, Raven and stylist Kate!

Other than weddings, I shoot food and food events! The latest highlight was shooting for and at their recent dinner which was just out of this world.
