Since the inception of System.Au in 2020, Alyssa & Daniel have been on a journey to tell an audio/visual story with a focus on the sounds of drum & bass. Not allowing themselves to be stuck in a box, System.Au explores sounds of uplifting, melodic, jazzy, and beautiful frequencies all the way to the depths of the techiest, darkest, and heaviest corners of the genre with their music. Their works express a relatable feeling to the human experience, and challenges to break out of the commonly accepted norms established by our modern day society and choose new perspectives. Since taking bookings late 2022, they have been included on lineups with Drum & Bass legends such as Fricton, Chase & Status, Alix Perez, Hyroglifics, Rohaan, Hugh Hardie, Degs, and more to come.

With a deep love and connection to the underground scene, they are on the path to pave the next wave of drum & bass and jungle music to the US and beyond.

Born and raised in the PNW, Low Key Goddess (LKG) fostered her love for music from a young age, frequenting live music events of all genres in the Seattle area.

For LKG, beginning to mix music was like regaining control of a phantom limb; as if she had finally found the missing piece to her puzzle of authentic self-expression. As the world withdrew into their homes in 2020, LKG expanded her horizons through house and drum and bass, and dove deep into honing her distinctive mixing style.

The sounds of LKG are versital, deep, and melodic. Each of her live sets tell their own unique story, rich in driving bass lines, technical drum patterns, and haunting vocals.

In an effort to give back to the music and arts communities that shaped her, LKG formed Subversion DNB in partnership with other passionate, femme-, nonbinary-, and FLINTA-identifying drum and bass artists around the Seattle and PNW area. With shared values rooted in equity and growth, the collective aims to disrupt the status quo. Together, their goal is to inspire positive change within the drum and bass community, lift one another up, and amplify underrepresented voices.

Debut comin through! Shawn Hammer has been a long time break beat supporter in Seattle. We are excited for his debut this Wednesday July 26th at the !

Shawn Hammer grew up on Long Island New York. While in Junior High he listened to DJ Red Alert on WBLS during the times of Run-Dmc King of Rock, Roxanne Shante, LL Cool J, Afrika Bambaataa and The Soul Sonic Force (to name a few). He was hooked with that Hip Hop Breakbeat sounds.

A few years later he started going to New York nightclubs like Club Caffeine, The Sound Factory, The Limelight, and the Tunnel.
Later hearing a track called "The Freaks" by an artist called Uberzone... had him immediately hooked to breakbeats. In somewhat of a perfect storm from his childhood to that moment he heard Uberzone there was nothing else but breakbeats.

Moving to Seattle in 1996 he acquired his first pair of Technics 1200's and self taught himself how to mix vinyl. Eventually having enough confidence in giving DJ'ing a go in the public realm he played in the Seattle nightlife scene at clubs such as - Noc-Noc, Contour, The Last Supper Club, Waids, Trinity, and others. Also playing at warehouses like Produkt loft, raves, and on C 89.5(thanks in most part to Mike B).
Shawn likes to think of himself as that 6am DJ, his favorite time slot...

Bringing Confusion - Funky Bat Records on as a resident for Fraktured was a no brainer! He has been a HUGE support to our family and brings an OG electro sound to the plate. We are excited to celebrate his official debut as resident next Wednesday!

Confusion (Funky Bat Records / For The Love Records)
Multi-genre DJ since 1996 heavily influenced by Bass, Electro, Freestyle, Chicago House, and Funky Beats.

Originally from Chicago, Confusion grew up in the South Florida underground music scene influenced by Miami Bass and Freestyle on the local radio at an early age. He studied music early learning to play trombone, keyboard, and guitar. During high school, he took advantage of learning MIDI and how to run full auditorium audio & visual productions.

Confusion began DJing in 1996 and was a regular at most major events (Ultra Music Festival, Zen Fest, WMC, etc.) playing alongside with direct support for almost all of the biggest names in the music industry in the 90s and 00s. Weekly, he held down many regular breaks, house, and Drum & Bass residencies from South Beach to the Palm Beaches at legendary venues. Known for playing full power Electro Breaks, Confusion also helped push the Nu Skool sounds we hear today back in the early 2000s.

Now residing just outside of Seattle, WA, he has teamed up with ekb* to form Funky Bat Records (www.funkybatrecords.com) producing their own flavor of music incorporated with art. This power couple can be found headlining events up and down the West Coast and all over the USA!

Confusion has his 1st ever Electro Breaks remix due out in the next few weeks as he recently signed on with For The Love Records out of Las Vegas! The track is called Video Armageddon by Simon Apex & Queen B (Confusion Remix). Currently working on new production releasing on multiple labels as well as Funky Bat.

For his Drum and Bass sets, Confusion was voted #1 Best International Drum & Bass DJ mix by Knowledge Magazine UK Nov 2000!
