World Vision Pittsburgh
World Vision Pittsburgh is the Global Distribution Center for World Vision's Gifts in Kind operation.
Today we had some incredible World Vision visitors! Juliann, Philip & Reed were here from Federal Way and Roberta & Elisha were here from northern Texas. We were able to learn, fellowship, and share the work World Vision is accomplishing locally and globally.
We have so many amazing groups that come and volunteer at the warehouse. FedEx is a company that actively supports their employees being involved in the communities around them and we couldn’t be happier to have so many departments volunteering here regularly! (This is the labor law department.)
If you’re looking for volunteer opportunities for your organization or group, send us a dm!
Big thanks to FedEx!
Big thanks to Bob and his crew from North Park Church who crushed a book donation for us! Thanks everyone!
Our friends from UPMC are back for their annual World Vision Kits build! A huge thanks to Molly and her whole team for always being such an amazing, happy, hard working group of people!
If you haven’t, check out our World Vision Kits program. It’s a great opportunity for your church, organization, team or community to come together and make a huge impact!

For the past 2 weeks we have had crews of volunteers from Chevron coming in to volunteer. Thank you so much, you all have been amazing!
We are all deeply saddened by the passing of John. He was a devout volunteer here, usually found manning the cardboard baler. His devotion as a volunteer clearly flowed from his heart for the children served by World Vision. He made a difference in the world and we are honored and humbled to know him. Rest in peace, John.
