Smokedown Farm
Smokedown Farm is a family owned and operated farm overlooking the Housatonic River valley in Sharon, CT. We are growing 9 acres of hops for local brewers.
Smokedown Farm is a 170 acre farm on the western edge of the Housatonic River valley in Sharon CT. Its rolling fields have been used for dairy pasture, hay and corn over the years. Its most recent crop is almost 9000 hop plants planted in June 2015. US, English and New Zealand varieties of hops, for all kinds of beers, will be available in the early fall of 2016.
