Create a 50 page hardcover journal with an open stitched spine and decorative cover papers.

Learn the basics of creating a blank 5-1/2” x 4-1/4” journal, with signatures bound with a stitching method and hard covers that will lay flat when open. Decorative papers will be available, or bring your own (two sheets, minimum size 6-1/2” x 5-1/4”). These journals are great for jotting notes or creating an art sketchbook!

We are working on merging the old Lakeshore Art Supplies and Framing page with the new Ampersand Supply Co. page.

This is a great time to explain, why did we change the name? When we think about how we approach our creative works we use a lot of different tools and resources. This includes the maker world a lot of the time, so we saw a unique opportunity to create an inclusionary community for Artists and (&) Makers to collaborate and create.

Things might look confusing here for a week or so to give Facebook time to do the merge. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

And a reminder we're still doing custom framing! That hasn't gone away. We look forward to seeing all the new artworks coming into the space to preserve for you.

We also want to take this chance to thank everyone that has continued to support us and support Cindy's original vision. It means so much to us all that we have customers that have come in and wished Cindy well and are excited to see what we have coming up for the future. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

This year's event is highlighted by Power Wheels Racing Series, featuring adults racing souped-up child-size electric vehicles, along with the John Michael Kohler Arts Center's Get the Gig band competition - where local bands will compete for a paid, opening gig during the Levitt AMP Sheboygan Music Series.

Other activities include: junkyard art, robotics, coding, collage making with New York-based pop artist Michael Albert and visits from the MilliporeSigma Exploration Station and the Lakeshore Technical College Mobile Manufacturing Lab.
