Act 150, a new law related to Vermont's libraries, takes effect today (July 1). A notable part of Act 150 lowers confidentiality for library accounts to age 12 and we're updating our records to follow the new law. If you have a child aged 11 or under who has a card with the Pierson Library, please stop by a service desk during your next visit so we can update their record. If you have a 12 to 17 year old, have them stop by the library so we can update their account preferences.
