They did AMAZING! Barker was looking roughhh but now HE IS FABULOUS!!!

If you need to have your dog out tonight. Use a slip lead, martingale AND two leash method!!
**Ensure your dogs collar is SNUG and can’t go over dogs head if you have to use a regular collar.

We have been busy, it’s puppy season!
This is Spam! We work with Errorless Service Dogs to get these pups raised up to be Service Dogs!! Too soon to tell with little Spam on her success!

Her first night, she pottied on my porch potty successfully!! I am one tired puppy raiser 😅

What’s the hardest thing you have trained or hardest breed?

Mm answer is easy but long winded, it’s actually not the dog. As humans we all learn differently and they can present unique situations in which I have to get creative on how to best teach them!

My favorite thing to train a dog, which is more difficult in terms of timing, is how to take a deep breath!! It’s soo vital to learn how to breath as a human in stressful situations, dogs taking a breath can aid soo much in behavior cases!!

I am sort of back!?
Surgery went well, I’m healing up great!
I cannot do more “heavier” activity for another month!

Thankfully Gracie has been AMAZING on leash, even with other dogs present she doesn’t pull on me which is amazing for my healing journey.

IMPORTANT Reminder:

Update about the Canine illness ** important to know**

Having a discussion with another pet professional and we were thinking how do we provide solutions for people who are asking for help in social media.

I can recommend a trainer in their area or even online help! Some are closed to online help
What if they go to a less educated trainer then what’s needed for their dog?
I can tell them a partial solution but the ex*****on is key.
I can take my time to help them for free.
If none of that works they seek videos to help them. Again ex*****on matters, because if timing is off then it won’t provide a solution but frustrate the owners.
Then this leaves owners feeling hopeless because they have tried it all it seems to not work.

The animal industry isn’t easy place to navigate because of the amount of misinformation that is in it & access of education isn’t as easy to find as I think it should be.
If any pet owners have thoughts or input! That would be amazing!

The media has been sharing this Canine illness.
Being proactive and not fearful is best course of action right now.

I personally have been disinfecting & keeping my dogs away from strangers dogs.
If you are in apartment in the red states a turf potty pad & increasing mental enrichment can be great solution.
If your dog has a cough, take them to vet to be tested. Catching the illness early can aid in helping out vets across the country as well as better treatment plan for your dog!
Update your dogs vax records.

If your dog has to be groomed, ask groomers the steps they are taking to keep everyone safe.

Something you don’t know is I go out & learn 4 times a week at times. I do not have many photos but here is Gracie & I!!

Continuing my education is very important to me as I do call myself a professional. Professionals in dog industry should be always learning.
The education I am getting is truly priceless. I can’t wait to compete & grow more.

With the holidays everyone wants their dogs to look cute ! I totally get it! Make your groom appointment NOW, Christmas is FILLING up already.

Metal combs & slicker brushes can be your best friend for long haired dogs!! Brushing daily is a must for some breeds.
If you do not brush at home, this can cause pain to your dog. Mats are forming. Shaving is valid to avoid hurting your dog further ✨

Ethical rescues should be matching a dog to you based on lifestyle, training is a must!! Perfect dog will not just fall in your lap.

For my viewers who are sensitive to animal cruelty videos. DO NOT look up what Tina Frey did to these animals and had the audacity to call it training.
I will attach a video that doesn’t include that horrendous act of violence towards an animals.
In short, she whipped a dog again & again, as well as encourages her daughter to have inappropriate physical contact with dogs.

The dog training industry isn’t regulated. Abuse isn’t always this outward. Sometimes it’s more subtle but still extremely harming the mental state of dogs. I will always continue to make pet parents aware that this still happens. You cannot trust just anyone with your pets because behind closed doors you never know what they are doing.
This is why I train you!! On rare occasions I do take a B&T, I record every session & interaction for the owners. I will always be the voice for those who can’t speak for themselves. I really hope these people get educated on what real training looks like instead of continuing to commit horrendous acts upon innocent animals.

With the holidays coming up it’s time to make a plan to allow your pets decompression time away from the chaos.
Not all pets can handle the stress of the holidays or be trusted around all that food.
You can practice food refusal now to help prepare!!
You can set up your pets for success now to reduce that stress!

Setting up a quiet room for your pets to stay away from the chaos and temptations!
If there’s kids that cannot be trusted, a room that locks would be best!
Mentally enrich your pets before the visitors come this way they are sleepy. This works for cats too!
I give my dogs chews to help them self soothe as well!

Have emergency vet on deck just in case your pup eats something they shouldn’t eat! Cooked bones are not safe for dogs! Ensure whatever is fed to your pets it’s safe for them to avoid hefty vet bill 💖🙌🏻
