We occasionally get asked if we can bend the rules for someone, and they always sound reasonable and have good intentions.

The answer is still always "no". We don't want to sound like the evil teacher, but we have rules in place for your safety, not just to be jerks. Think hard about any place that will bend the rules. If they're willing to do something for you that isn't by the book, what else are they doing that might be harmful?

Maybe I've just been getting unlucky lately, but when I read the local news I keep seeing businesses closing, people getting hurt, and bad stuff upon bad stuff. My suggestion?
Crawl up in one of our recliners for an , put down the phone, put on a sleep mask, and forget the ugliness for an hour.

Think about it. Ten years ago when you were sick with the , or , or had a stomach bug, you had to go to the ER and spend a fortune, like you were in some kind of Stone Age nightmare.

We've noticed a lot of mobile places advertising around town, and a lot of places adding to their offerings. People constantly ask them about their procedures.

While we won't give them away for other places to copy, if you come in for a treatment you're welcomed to read through all 40-someodd pages of the Policies and Procedures we've developed over almost 8 years, and watch your IV being made. We're setting the standard and don't mind being checked.

I'm not saying it's going to have the same health effects as an (because there aren't any or meds), but they're cheap, you, and always make me feel better about life in general. Be a kid. Find a snow cone. You'll feel better.

Our nurses all probably hope you think we're closed on the weekends so they can nap or something, but Captain Evil is here to wreck their day by letting you know we take walk-ins all weekend from 8 to 4.

We're frequently (as in this morning) asked if we give diphenhydramine (Benadryl) in our packages, for people who have illness or migraines.

We don't. It's a wonderful medicine, but it causes drowsiness. We don't want to risk you being off your game and trying to drive. Even if it's an hour later. If you choose to go to a place that DOES give IV Benadryl, please have a driver... for a WHILE.

Why do I see the owners almost every time I go to my favorite restaurants? Why do I see the same guys almost every time I go to the driving range? More importantly, why is it that those people are always so good at what they do?

Commitment and consistency. The key to success, whether it's your health, your business, or your golf game, is committed consistency. It doesn't matter if you don't want to get an , or never get a , if you'll just COMMIT to a consistently healthy lifestyle, you'll get where you want to be. You can do it. Start today.

If you're working outside, playing golf or pickleball or tennis, or are just in the heat and are drinking electrolyte powders, BE CAREFUL.

They're loaded with sodium and can spike your blood pressure if you drink too many. Let's not trade dehydration for a stroke.

Spent the whole weekend moving furniture and hanging artwork and so forth (and there's more to come), to make your experience as comfortable as possible, and when I went for the drywall anchors I found out I could've been coloring the whole time. 🤦🏻‍♂️

When you come in to get your today you may see people removing artwork from walls or walking out with a couch or something...

We're just "freshening up" the decor. Couldn't get it all done yesterday. We'll be VERY quiet.

Alright regulars, you got the staff in trouble...

Some of you don't take the Aftercare card which has post- instructions and the alcohol wipe and bandaid, because it's old hat.

Humor me and take it every time. You never know when your bandage is going to become ineffective, and we don't want you picking up an infection after you leave. Thank you!

You ever wonder why the "siesta" is a thing? People get to work EARLY where it's hot (like here) and sleep during the day to avoid the brutal crushing heat. Then they work more later.

But seriously, take precautions if you're going to be outside. We're past the point of treating the heat as a joke. Stay !
