Last night in Shreveport Centenary College kicked off its 1st NCAA football season in 70 years with a. Sell out, standing room only crowd. Balentine Ambulance is people to provide eEMS standby services for all centenary Football home games helping keep players and fans safe and Shreveport welcomes back the Gents for a historic season!

About Last night…. Thursday night kicked off 50 Cent’s Humor and Harmony weekend in Downtown Shreveport. As always Balentine Ambulance medics alongside our friends at Shreveport Fire Department teamed up to provide seamless EMS coverage to all the patrons of the event. While Thursday was just the opening night we will be there all weekend helping keep Shreveport safe and making sure everyone has a fun and safe time. Our Medics also got a surprise last night getting to meet and get a selfie with Comedian Matt Rife

During the stormy evening of May 22, 2024, the Wednesday of National EMS week, Balentine EMT Pearce Copeland sprang onto action to save 3 lives from flood waters, going above and beyond the call of duty to help those who were in a great time of need.

EMT rescues three women trapped in submerged cars Pearce Copeland says he was getting off a busy shift when he was traveling down the street and was suddenly left in disbelief when he saw two partially submerged cars last month.

As we close out EMS Week 2024 we again want to say thank you to our incredible medics, Dispatchers, Billing staff, HR and Schedulers for the job they do day in and day out 365 days a year to provide exceptional care to our patients and our community. Yesterday Balentine Medics Richard, Jordan, Kevin, Kaitlyn, Katherine. Provided standby services for the Canadian Pacific Kansas City Railroad Final Soike tour of their fully restored Empress Steam engine built in 1930!!

As we kick off the 50th National EMS Week today This weekend Balentine Medics provided standby services at Open Range Fellowship in Greenwood, LA for the 2024 Open Range LRCA Rodeo. We thank each and every one of our team members for their dedication to our community. Owners Carl, Pam and Casey Mcbeath along with medics Richard, Sam, Bailey, Deja and Jordan grab a pic, and while Preston Broxson Rodeo Clown didn’t bring his ambulance this year he couldn’t stay away from grabbing a pic next to ours!!

Last weekend Balentine Medics alongside Shreveport Fire Department provided EMS standby services for the over 33,000 in attendance for the 2023 Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl. Were Texas Tech defeated Cal to take home the trophy. We’re proud to provide these services to our community for these events that highlight Shreveport on the national stage!
