I got to visit with one of my first rescues yesterday! I pulled Larry and Jack from the Bastrop kill pen in 2016. They were both very skinny, scared and destined for death. It has been 8 years and Larry (the sorrel) is still the lead hog hunting horse for one of our best friends. He is happy, loved and most importantly ALIVE!

He has been appreciated and taken care of since we rehomed him. I always tell our rehoming families that I will take these horses back if it doesn’t work out because I don’t want them back in the slaughter industry.. but so far all of the animals I’ve pulled have found a happy ending. The Carpenters have loved and appreciated Larry. They give him senior feed to keep him looking fabulous for an old man! He is well over 25years old and still has life in him because of his loving home.
Each animal rehomed means another life we can save!
Jack was rehomed with a super cool 😎 equine dentist who loves that big handsome guy!

It was a treat to visit with Larry and see how happy he is. .f.carpenter 🥰

I feel privileged to be asked to help teach the future of facial plastic surgery! This week the Otolaryngology / Facial Plastic Surgery residents from LSUHSC came to my office to discuss and practice their filler techniques.

I absolutely love spending time teaching doctors, nurse practitioners, and PA’s the art of injecting.

Once upon a time in Shreveport, a spunky and charming Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Corgi entered the lives of the Bundrick family, changing them forever. Little did they know that this bundle of joy would bring laughter, mischief, and an abundance of love into their home.
Corgi's story began when she was given to Dr. Bundrick by a patient after a successful rhinoplasty! From the moment Corgi stepped into the Bundricks lives, it was clear that this pup was no ordinary dog.
One of Corgi's most entertaining quirks is her uncontrollable urge to chase cows and donkeys. The sight of these larger animals triggers an exuberant burst of energy in Corgi, turning the serene countryside into a playground for her rambunctious adventures. The Bundricks can never resist the laughter that erupts as Corgi darts after the unsuspecting mini-cows and donkeys, tail wagging and ears flopping!!
Corgi's mischievous antics doesn't end there. Her talent for stealing table food has become legendary in the Bundrick household. No plate is safe when Corgi is around, and her stealthy maneuvers leave the Bundrick family in stitches as they try to catch her in the act.
When not indulging in her mischievous pursuits, Corgi's favorite pastime is perfecting the art of making herself comfortable, often sprawling belly-up, paws in the air, with an expression that seemed to say, "Life is good!" Her infectious joy extends to her interactions with the family's other pets.
Corgi's circle of friends includes Grouper the mini donkey and Maxa the dog. The diverse group form an unlikely but inseparable bond, with each member contributing to the joyful chaos that defined Corgi's world.
Corgi has a special fondness for Dolly Parton and LSU cheerleader outfits, often attempting to mimic the spirited movements whenever she wears them.
As the sun sets over this picturesque farm, Corgi can be found on the couch, belly up and paws in the air, daydreaming about her next adventure with Kat Kat, Chip, Grouper, and Maxa.
