Annual Prom Dress Giveaway
The Annual Dress giveaway is an opportunity for junior and senior girls, of Northwest Louisiana, to shop for a FREE dress.
We assist young women in attending their prom with style and confidence, while at the same time instilling an appreciation for community service. The Cinderella Project is open to and will provide FREE prom dresses to juniors and seniors girls in all of Northwest Louisiana. This includes public and private high schools in Bienville, Bossier, Caddo, Claiborne, Desoto, Natchitoches, Red River, and Webster Parish.
On the day of the event, students will sign in for a 30 minute shopping appointments, on a first come, first served basis. Students are required to bring a letter from a teacher, counselor or principal confirming their enrollment at a high school to the Giveaway. To ensure a respectful, organized shopping experience, each student is paired with a volunteer personal shopper. NO parent or guardian is allowed to go back with the student for her appointment. The personal shopper will guide the student through our dress inventory and help her try on and select a dress. Students will try on gowns in individual dressing rooms and view themselves in floor length mirrors, just as if they were shopping in a boutique. We have also partnered with local salons and beauty schools to provide beauty etiquette on hair and makeup.
