Election of Officers for the ensuing year will take place this Friday, Dec 1st. Joppa Lodge Master Masons in good standing are encouraged to attend and vote.

Joppa Lodge will be hosting their annual Homecoming / Past Master's Night / Veteran's Day event this Friday, Nov 10th. We are honored to be hosting the Grand Master of the State of Louisiana, the Most Worshipful Jimmie Dean Dunkin and his family. The recommended dress is a coat and tie. We are asking each attendee to bring canned goods to be donated to the LSUS holiday food drive. We look forward to seeing you!

Joppa Lodge will confer the Sublime Degree of Master Mason on Friday, Jul 7th. Dark colored suits are requested, but not required. A meal will be served at 6pm, the meeting will begin at 7pm.

Joppa Lodge will confer a Fellow Craft Degree and then host a Master Mason Catechism recital on Friday, May 5th (drink some coffee, it will be a long night!).

The meal will be at 6pm, followed by the meeting at 7pm. Business casual dress is requested for the Degree Team.

Grand Lodge is on the 21st of April. Paul dePingre,Glen Gerard, and Nate Hicks will be at Grand Lodge that night. Kent Martin will sit in the East and James Ott has been asked to sit in the West. With so many of our Brothers going to Grand Lodge if you haven’t been at Lodge in a while we need Brothers there to hold Lodge.

Also a reminder of a challenge DDGM James David Maxey, Sr., PM put out about donating the money you save on your grocery receipt to the Grand Lodge Children's Charities. We'll be taking the donations at District Lodge and presenting them to the Grand Master at Grand Lodge on behalf of the Brothers from the 1st Masonic District.

As most of you already have heard, It is with deep sadness I must report that Worshipful Brother Chad C. Driskell passed away Services are scheduled for 1pm Saturday February 4th at the Airline Church of Christ - 2125 Airline Drive, Bossier City. Chad was Master of Joppa Lodge in 2009 and again in 2012, If you were passed to the degree of Fellow Craft in the last two decades, prior to Chad's health decline, you likely received the staircase lecture from him.

Joppa Lodge will be conferring a Master Mason degree this Friday, Jan 27th. Meal at 6pm / Lodge at 7pm. Buisness casual dress is recommended, but not required. All Master Masons wherever so dispersed are invited!

The Brothers of Joppa Lodge # 362 will be Conferring the Master Mason Degree on January 27th. I would like to invite you all to come out. Dinner will be served at 6:00PM. The Degree will start at 7:00PM.

My brothers, it it with a heavy heart that we learned of the passing of Bro. John T. Dark. He passed away this morning around 10am. W. Bro. Dark was raised in Broadmoor No. 432 where he became Worshipful Master in 1987, member of Joppa Lodge No. 362 and Hap Arnold No. 457. He served the fraternity for more than 40 years in multiple bodies and capacities. Arrangements are pending. Alas our brother...

Brethren, in order to raise funds for our building, we are participating in the East Bank Easter Market in downtown Bossier City on April 9th. We are setting up a booth from 1-6pm. We need volunteers to take a shift and help man the booth. The booth is called “Ask an Old Dude.” The only experience needed is being wise (aka old).
