⭐️ What’s it like working with each other?
M: I love it. It’s fun to watch Emma grow in her role and share stories of our days.
E: Although we don’t physically work together, it’s fun to talk about work when we’re home, and attend work events. Mom supports me and is proud of me which helps getting through the tough days! She is definitely a “cool” mom. We all have fun like friends in and outside of work.

⭐️ What do you like most about working with each other?
M: I think it’s made us both appreciate each other – our strengths, talents, etc. It’s really fun.
E: We can relate to one another on a different level. We definitely laugh A LOT about random funny things that happen and it’s always fun coming home and debriefing a crazy day!

⭐️ We have a lot of new moms on the team. What’s a piece of advice you have for new moms?
M: Take it all in. Accept your child for who they are. Enjoy what makes them different than you. Laugh as much as possible. Be silly with your kids.

⭐️ Best thing about being a mom?
M: Everything. Experience life through their eyes. Seeing yourself in them at certain moments. Seeing the excitement in their eyes when they’re looking forward to something. All of it!

⭐️ What’s your favorite memory you’ve shared together?
M: My favorite memories are the times exploring sea creatures at West Beach, running through sprinklers, getting ice cream cones. The simple things.
E: One of my favorite moments was when we went to Puerto Rico. We had never done a trip just the two of us and we had a blast. I’d love to do another trip like that with her.

⭐️ Favorite way to spend time together outside of work?
M: Getting oysters and wine together!
E: We love going to grab oysters. Our favorite spot is Tonno in Gloucester. I love taking walks with her around Brace’s Cove in Gloucester with our dog Bruno.

⭐️ Best skincare tip for your respective age groups?
M: Use retinol and moisturizer. Wear a hat!
E: Start using Vitamin C in the morning and retinol at night! Anyone in their twenties should start using retinol for wrinkle prevention.

1. How long have you been with Skin MD, and what is your current position?

I have been with Skin MD for almost 2 months, and I am a medical esthetician!

2. What is your favorite part about working at Skin MD?

My favorite part about working at Skin MD is the knowledge and professional relationships I have made so far. I am constantly being supported while becoming a better esthetician.

3. What is your favorite service Skin MD offers and why?

My favorite service Skin MD offers is the Diamond Glow facial. I have acne prone skin and it treats my acne by exfoliating my skin and extracting my blemishes all while infusing clarifying serum into my pores at the same time. My skin is left clean and glowing each time I receive one!!

4. Outside of work, what are your interests?

Outside of work I love going to the beach, spending time with my family and friends and going on hikes with my boyfriend and his dog.

5. What are some of your go-to spots in Dedham?

I love Il Massimo in Legacy Place for Italian food, and I always get breakfast and coffee from Big Bear Cafe in Dedham Square.

6. What is the one thing you like to do to feel beautiful and pamper yourself?

I am a religious mani/pedi girl! I love getting dip manicures and gel pedicures.

7. What is your best skincare/health/beauty tip?

Since I have acne prone skin, I have found that always washing my face before bed, changing my pillowcase regularly and using a good retinol does wonders.
