We strongly believe in our community and keeping our fellow citizens well and thriving during COVID-19.

Everett Design is a woman-owned, small business located in Silver Spring, Maryland that specializes in fabrication of custom draperies, bedding, furniture and hardware. We work to the trade, which includes talented regional and national interior designers and architects.

In April 2020, Everett Design applied our skill to designing and fabricating masks in an effort to keep everyone safe. When we started to produce and donate masks at the onset of the pandemic, we created several reminder masks in various designs, including one featuring Ruth Bader Ginsberg. This unique and powerful mask has been popular and appeared in the Washington Post when Washington, DC's Mayor Browser wore it at a May press announcement.

To continue our efforts in keeping everyone safe and to honor the legacy of RBG, we have made our reminder masks available for all to wear. Follow the link in our bio to purchase (shipping is available).

Mayor Bowser has extended the Districts state of emergency until December 31.

We are very excited to see that she is wearing our mask, which we donated to the office in May.

So happy we were able to donate our Reminder Masks to Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless! Our great seamstresses are continuing to make more masks.

The masks continue to pour in and they go out out just as quickly. We're so happy to donate to The National Center for Children and Families and hope they feel a little safer during this time.

It is another quiet day in our workroom. While we miss working together we are keeping our seamstresses and staff safe working remotely on what we can.

: "The have invited everyone to share a room, space or corner that makes your 💛 happy. This is one of my happy places. Our living room at Lombardy is one of the largest rooms in the house (as was the custom in 1930😏), but this is a summer home for us and I wanted it to feel casual and welcoming. I love walking into this room to find family and guests playing a game, reading or snoozing on the couch. 📷 "
