We are rescheduling the ride to Chesapeake Beach for August 7. The strong chance of rain and the distance warrants this decision. If riders want to meetup that is always fine. However the group ride is not happening on July 17. Ride safe.

Some motorcyclists are planning to ride in a group to Dwayne Miner’s celebration of life in Stevenson MD. They are meeting at 11 AM at IKEA college park. Kick Stands Up (KSU) at 12 PM.

This was shared with us yesterday evening by biker Dwayne’s family. Again we are sad to share the news of Dwayne Miner’s transition. Condolences to Dwayne’s family.

Rest in Peace, Dwayne. Yesterday our brother had an accident on 495 while riding his motorcycle. He was taken to Suburban Hospital to undergo surgery. He did not make it through the surgeries. We will post more information regarding the funeral services once his family has a moment to mourn and plan. Our prayers are with his family and mother Vivian at this time. Ride safely.

47 motorcycles came to the meetup yesterday. Most joined in on the group ride. One new group rider had a leaking moto during the ride and another rider provided assistance - excellent. We take care of one another on the road. No rider gets left behind. It was a fun time as usual.
