Standing Springs Child Development Center

Our last day was May 31st, 2024. Thank you for the thousands of children and families that God allowed us to minister to over the last 47 years. We appreciate all of the kind words and gestures, and for the support you all showed to us as we close our doors. We are praying that the many seeds of Gods love that were planted here will grow and remain in the hearts and lives of all of our familes.

The last Graduation Program at Standing Springs Child Development Center starts at 7:00.

Mrs. Michelle’s K4 class had fun on the 100th Day of School dressing up like 100 year olds and doing lots of fun activities. They are “100 days brighter!”

Mrs. Carol was taking our kids from the Creeper Room on a ride when Mrs. Stephanie and one of her sweet Babies decided to hitch hike! I’m sure going to miss these moments when we close in May! ❤️

The CDC is planning on being open tomorrow for full time students. Greenville County Schools are doing an at-home E learning day tomorrow, so we will NOT have our preschool classes/kindergarten for morning-only children. Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate School aged children as we will only be using the Main Building for safety reasons. If the weather gets severe, or we lose power, we may have to close. The staff will send text messages if there are any changes throughout the day tomorrow. Stay safe!

Our “Creepers” class loves riding in the wagon and they love Mrs. Carol!

Thank you to Bo Julian and the crew from Greenville County for bringing out some big trucks and equipment for our Transportation Week! The children really enjoyed it. That dump truck horn was loud! 😜

Our K-4 Classes enjoyed making sheep in chapel this morning. Thank you, Jesus, for being our Good Shepherd.

Another great Open House tonight. So sad to say it will be our last as this will be the last school year we will be open. But we are committed to make this our best year yet by continuing to teach these sweet ones their ABCs and 123s, but most importantly teaching them the love that Jesus has for them. Our theme this year is Wild about Jesus because the Bible tells us in John 4:19 that “We love Him because He first loved us.“ and John 3:16 says “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believes in Him, should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

End of the Summer Celebration with water slides and a bouncy house. Our littles were not so sure of the slides and bounce house, so we got out the water toys for them!

Our “Creepers” class is SERIOUS about some Pizza Rolls!
