โBut those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.โ - Isaiah 40:31
To wrap up our service about prayer and hoping in the Lord yesterday, we asked a handful of men from our congregation to read Isaiah 40 over us. It was such a powerful time being reminded of our hope in Christ! ๐
We have a God who is obsessed with relationship! What an honor it is to be able to go to Him in prayer and be reminded that He is the prize!

Over the past couple of weeks in our "Be Still" series, we have focused on the spiritual discipline of prayer. This past Sunday, we looked at 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 where we are instructed to "pray continually" or "without ceasing" and how walking this out doesn't have to be as intimidating as it sounds.
So, how do we do this?
1. Be personal.
2. Be honest.
3. Be intentional.
We hope you have embraced the challenge of spending the first 15 minutes of your day with God, being still in His presence, in awe of who He is, and asking for His will and direction in your life! ๐
This past Sunday, we got a chance to pray over Brian Glenney as he steps into leading our Men's Ministry at Renovation Simpsonville alongside an incredible team of men! ๐ช

We loved celebrating our graduating High School seniors yesterday and praying over them as they enter this next season! ๐
We are so excited about this Sunday as we will start our summer series, "Be Still."
Being still doesn't come easily. We are told that we prove our worth by what we do, so we stay busy, filling our schedules with "worth"-while things.
God's metric is different.
He asks us for the opportunity to transform us to look like His Son. Reflecting Jesus requires setting aside our to-dos and sitting at His feet. To be His disciples, we need the disciplines of prayer, meditating on Scripture, and rest.
Join us on Sunday mornings as we pause our busyness and learn to fall more in love with Jesus.
This past Sunday, we celebrated all of the incredible mothers in our church family and it was such a great morning! ๐
We also heard from an amazing panel of women talking about how "your voice matters," and it was such an encouraging and challenging discussion. ๐

This Sunday holds something truly beautiful in store for us as we gather for Communion and celebrate Baptism together! Join us as we pause to remember and honor the sacrifice of our Savior, a time of deep reflection, renewal, and connection.
But that's not allโthis Sunday, we're also celebrating with our new brothers and sisters in Christ as they take the next step of obedience through Baptism! What an incredible day it's going to be, filled with love, joy, and celebrating the Gospel. ๐
Services begin at 9:00 AM and 10:45 AM. Come ready to worship, and let's share in these moments of faith and celebration together! See you there!
This past Sunday, we continued to look at the story of Esther and what we can learn from it. Through this story, we see that God has a purpose for all that we experience, that obedience is our main responsibility, and that we can learn to trust in who God is through that! ๐
If you'd like to listen to this past Sunday's message, you can find it on our podcast!
Every Baptism Sunday, we get a chance to watch the people who just made their public declaration of faith in Jesus put a lightbulb in the Jesus sign, symbolizing that as followers of Jesus, we are called the light of the world.
Baptism is a symbol of our death to self, the washing away of sins, and being raised to new life because of the work of Jesus. As Louie Giglio said, โJesus didnโt come to make sick people well; He came to make dead people live!โ
As your church family, we are saying YES to coming alongside you, supporting you in your journey toward Jesus. We look forward to praying with you and celebrating your baptism decision.
Our next Baptism Sunday is May 5th and tomorrow, April 28th, is the last day to sign up! Visit www.theRenovation.church today to register!

This week, we started our series through the book of Esther. In the first couple of chapters, there are many confusing and wicked things happening.
We looked at how, even in the midst of these things, God was still working and moving. We can trust that He is putting all the pieces together in our lives for His glory and our good! ๐
