When refugees arrive in South Dakota, they often only have what they can carry in their hands. The LSS Center for New Americans provides basic needs and necessities upon their arrival to South Dakota.
Please consider making a donation to the Center for New Americans at Donate.LssSD.org to help our team stock up for families in need OR visit with Nichole Townsend, Community Engagement Coordinator, to donate kitchen supplies, cleaning products, household items, or toiletries.
Thank you for helping newly arriving refugees begin to feel healthy, safe, and accepted!

It’s a beautiful day for donuts! Congratulations Stev Meas and Chenda Chou, co-owners of locally owned Mr. Donuts! Stev is a graduate of the LSS Center for New Americans Multilingual CO.STARTERS course and today we celebrated his achievement of his goal to expand his family business with a Greater Sioux Falls Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting!
Check out their new Mr. Donuts location on East 10th Street and grab a delicious, freshly made donut (or coffee, sandwich, bagel, and MORE).
Stev’s class was supported and co-facilitated by TLC Services, was made possible by partnership with Startup Sioux Falls, and was powered by SBA. We’re honored to be part of this community and partnership to help business owners reach their goals.
