Fact: The US lost 20 million acres of farmland and 142,000 farms from 2017-2022 based on the Ag Census that the US dept of Agriculture conducts every five years. That number seems crazy and scary. What does that mean? Well the decline in farms means the US will have to rely more and more on imports from other countries.
