Trauma lingers for a lifetime in your body if it is never processed. Safety and connection are paramount to a healthy adulthood. We can only move forward if we are willing to peel layers and build healthy relationships with people who make it okay to peel those layers.

We are grateful when staff come from Children's Home Shelter for Family Safety to share about domestic violence and the services available. Thank you, Kobi Ringling, for one last Saturday morning with us and our new trainees! Please note they are doing their annual July Drive-Out Domestic Violence fundraising campaign so consider supporting the important work they do 365 days a year. ❣️

Do you love pancakes?! How about the Sioux Empire Fair?! Or supporting Sioux Falls Kiwanis ? Well, on August 3, you can have it all (if these things are things you ❣️!)!! Join us as we do our part to help raise funds for our friends at Kiwanis!! This is always tremendous fun and a big day at the Fairgrounds! Look for the blue house!! 😋😋 Yum! (Pancakes are there all week so don't fret if Saturday doesn't work, other wonderful nonprofits will also be there for a shift each day of the Fair!)
