Q&A: Reporting on the AMA's War Against Chiropractors Journalist Howard Wolinsky discusses his new book, 'Contain and Eliminate'

Chester Wilk, DC, who won a major lawsuit for the chiropractic profession against the AMA, died a few hours ago.

Chester was a Chicago chiropractor who suspected and then proved that AMA and other groups in organized medicine were plotting against the chiropractors and the chiropractic profession.

Dr. Wilk was the lead plaintiff in the antitrust suit Wilk et al. vs. AMA et al.

He and a group of fellow plaintiff chiropractors, under the leadership of attorney George McAndrews, won a 14-year battle against the AMA and other major medical groups. It was decided in the chiropractor's favor at the US Supreme Court.

So remember Chester and what he accomplished for chiropractors and our profession and for their patients throughout the future.
