The Children's House

The Children’s House opened in 1997.
Due to Covid we have closed our doors
Many Thanks to all of the wonderful families and staff that allowed us to be a premier childcare facility in our area.

The lifeline Foundation Board of Directors voted Friday to keep the Children’s House closed until a vaccine is available.
I do not know an opening date and do not want you to wait to find alternative care.
I do have staff that will be looking for employment and May consider home care for you
I hate this more than

The Children’s House will not open in June. The Lifeline Foundation Board of Director’s has requested the center delay opening the center until July.
We deeply regret any hardship this places on our families but feel we must ensure the health and safety of our children, families and staff before we open.

I’d like to ask all families that are enrolled at The Children’s House to please contact me via FB, text or email to let me know if you will need childcare on June 15. If not what date will you need care or if you will pulling your child.

CLOSED - I regret to inform you that The Children’s House will be CLOSED for next two weeks due to virus. The Governor has issued a statement for all childcare be prepared to shut down in 72 hours. I feel it is best we get ahead of it and close now to ensure the health and safety of our children and staff

The Children’s House will award a $100.00 gift card from Discount School Supply or Walmart to an “OUTSTANDING TEACHER “. in Pulaski County!
Former students or parents of students from The Children’s House, are asked to post the name of an OUTSTANDING TEACHER and a brief paragraph what influence this teacher has had on their child.

We are excited for Skylar to begin her new adventure in kindergarten! The Children’s House prepared her so well for this moment (beyond our expectations, in fact). Thank you Phyllis Orwin Lawson, Sally Watts, Lisa Shourds, Paula Burkhart, Michelle Clark, Judy Brinson, and the other wonderful ladies who have taken care of our girl since she was 3 months old!

I reallllly am trying to stay off social media...but this day held too much.

Hayden got to ring the Literacy Bell today! Such a cool experience for her at the library. I also have to give credit where credit is due.

When she got selected for the Literacy Bell, her sweet teacher that we love, commented on how I have worked with her at home. Then, I told her the truth. While I have worked with Hayden...some....the real heroes here are the staff at The Children’s House. Hayden learned SO much with Ms. Sally Watts and Ms. Lisa. THAT is where she really learned to read.

I will forever be grateful to Ms. Sally, Ms. Lisa, Ms. Phyllis Orwin Lawson and their staff for how well they prepared Hayden for school. She loves learning, and that is a beautiful thing.

I just wanted to let you know, again, how much our experience at The Children’s House has meant to us. I say that because not only does Avery have wonderful friends — but Melissa and I now have friends in the parents of those children she was there with. I was reminded of that tonight at the PES Fall Festival. We didn’t walk 10 feet without encountering folks now in our circle of friends, and most were parents of kids Avery was there with. We love you guys.
