It's another DAY OF SHARING at God's Food Pantry! (119 S. Central Ave, Somerset, KY). Come and let us bless you with some extra food!

We have MILK (enough for 200 families), POTATOES (enough for 50 families) and BREAD to share with you today.

We will share these blessings 8:00am - 2:00pm today or until it's all gone. We will update this post when the food is gone. If the post is still here and the update says there is still food available, it is still available.

We want to share with as many families as possible so we ask that only 1 PERSON PER FAMILY pick up and only 1 VISIT PER DAY.

LBSK is pleased to say we had the pleasure of helping a lot of people today approximately 360 meals sadly we ran out, but 40 supplemental food boxes were passed out and we had some produce left over and we were able to bless some unexpected folks!
Special thanks to Charlotte Ikerd for your help in this huge endeavor! Also appreciation goes to our faithful volunteers. I didn’t get all the names helping today as I was out doing other LBSK business but once I got there Mitchell was getting ready to mop floors in the kitchen and upstairs, they were still giving away food boxes, Mitzi, Bonnie, Jen, and many others. As you all know it was HOT today but they all stayed until the job was finished!Blessings to all! Thanks to all who donate time, food, money and praying for LBSK. 💜 we need all of you to keep this going ♥️

Living Bread Soup Kitchen (Mitzi Dowell) want to thank Sample Somerset for inviting us. We invite everyone down for a good cause and good fun.

Mitzi gave away about 12 bags of donated items today!
A few people needed pantry food items & received that including a young man passing by about 6pm who was hungry!
A lady was happy to find her little girl a bathing suit.
2 people came in & asked for prayers...please, you all pray with us in agreement.....one family needs a home the other major healing!
This is what LBSK is all about...not looking for praise or a pat on the back, just want to put this out there so you all see what goes on at LBSK even when the doors are closed & so you see we need YOU! Come volunteer with us & just hang out for a while & you'll see it with your own eyes

We were blessed with some extra volunteers today USAF (Mr. Stout) brought 10 recruits in to help with some heavy duty work! We sure appreciate them for everything they did!

Below are instructions on 'how to' give your reward points to LBSK.

Kroger will mail The Living Bread Soup Kitchen a check quarterly. The check amount depends on how many of us have signed up and how much we spend!! Even if you don't shop there often, every little bit helps!!! Also, it costs you nothing. Kroger does all the work!!
