RACE UPDATE: The 2023 Christmas Island Jingle Bell Run🎄 in Burnside is rescheduled from tomorrow, December 9th, to next Friday, December 15th! Read below!!

RACE UPDATE - From City Of Burnside

Due to near guaranteed rain, storms, and high winds at General Burnside Island this Saturday, December 9th, the 2023 Jingle Bell Run has been RESCHEDULED to start at 10:30pm on Friday, December 15th. As the Jingle Bell Run course winds around the stunning Christmas Island light displays in the evening, stormy weather presents challenges for runners and organizers alike.

The December 15th rescheduled date is intended to provide a safer environment for all participants and Burnside Tourism thanks you for your understanding at this time. All registrations will be deemed valid for the Friday the 15th event as originally scheduled.

Please remember to dress appropriately for the weather on race day, and headlamps are HIGHLY encouraged for all participants to bring along with them to the event as the course is held on a paved road in the night. The extended date allows for an open registration window, so please invite others to join in as well. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Pilgrimage in the Park 5K Run/Walk The Pilgrimage in the Park 5K Run/Walk is on Thursday November 23, 2023. It includes the following events: 5K Run/Walk and Fun Run/Walk.

We had our first run club meet up last night and it was a blast! Shoutout to Kelly, Brandi, and Robert for showing up and crushing the 5K! 🏃‍♀️⏱️

SKY Run Club is for anyone who wants to join in on Thursday night runs to grow the Somerset running community, improve themselves, and make friends, with no runner left behind.
