ROAD CLOSURE TUESDAY:
WILBOURNE RD WILL BE CLOSED BETWEEN SELLERS AND MCFADDEN DR. WILL BE CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
Fireworks @ 9:00 in Oakland. It has cooled off and everyone is coming in to enjoy the fun. School parking has filled up but parking at the park is open and available.

Please stay aware of changing weather. Thunderstorm WARNING for Northern Fayette County until 2:15 pm.
At 1219 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Arlington, or 11 miles northeast of Bartlett, moving east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.

Several days of possible severe weather .
Fayette County Courthouse is undergoing renovations. While working on the new roof, workers encountered Honey Bees active and doing their work making honey. Seen in the video are Dr. Murphy and other bee keepers attempting to remove and save the bee colony. We need our bees! Honey Bees are our pollinators. They pollinate crops, fruits, vegetables and nuts. They also give us some great local honey.

Road Closure: Per Public Works, Old Brownsville Road North of Chester Rd will be closed until tomorrow.
Wow, we went outside after seeing all these pictures. We’ve never seen anything like this before. Pretty amazing! Click on their link and look at everyone sending their pictures.
What a rare sight, the Northern Lights in Memphis! This is a cell phone picture from the Agricenter. These colors would be more vibrant away from light pollution.
So, we thought we would share this but hopefully we will be getting a good night sleep and not have to be up at that time. ENJOY!

A line of severe thunderstorms will approach the Mid-South from the west late tonight into early tomorrow morning.
The line may weaken as it approaches due to diurnal instability trends.
Large hail and damaging winds are the primary threats.

The same line of storms may redevelop and intensify as daytime heating commences.
Storms may persist through the afternoon and into the evening hours.
Large hail and damaging winds are the primary threats. A quick, spin up, tornado with the line of storms is possible. As storms become more discrete in the afternoon, a tornado or two is also possible.

Still monitoring this closely, but confidence continue to increase for strong to severe storm develop Wednesday night into Thursday.
