Fundraiser for Jaxson Christ and his family, while Jaxson under goes medical treatment for DIPG. On Tuesday June 13 at 2:30 p.m.

On June 10, 2023 Jaxson Christ and his dad Jeremy Christ went to prompt care for what we thought was a normal case of pink eye or an eye irritation that had lingered too long. Our jokes of Jaxson letting someone fart on his pillow quickly became a sickening wait game of unknown tests and a storm of doctors that provided little information. After 6 hours at the local hospital Jaxson was transported

On our last adventure with Jax in November for a birthday party, we got to talking about his upcoming birthday (December 4). He was bummed he had to a winter birthday, so I gave him the idea for a half birthday in the summer. Our planning began for a 9 and a half birthday. He wanted a water party, bbq and to be outside all day long! We're still heartbroken these moment continue on without him, but we love to still celebrate him anyway we can. So today we celebrated a 9 and a half heaven birthday for Jax. Words can not describe how much we miss him and we would give anything to have him here, but we'll keep on cruisin through this life keeping his memory alive and having him apart of our new ones. Happy 9 and a half birthday little man!

We haven't posted in a long while. Some days our reality is still surreal. There are no words to express how much Jax is missed in everything we do, but we are striving to cruise through this life with him in our hearts forever. We faced our first holiday's without him, we faced our first camping trip, ocean trip, family vacation, birthday party, barrel race, rodeo and first bowling trip (which was our last adventure with Jax). The girls always have the sweetest remembrances, and as much as we love them, they remind us of the loss. But we'll keep, keepin on for our favorite boy in heaven.

It is with great sadness that we share that Jax passed away at home with his family on December 23, 2023. Jax adventure on earth was short, but he made an impact that will last a life time.
The family's need for funeral expenses and services will be shared at a later time.
We appreciate all the love and support each one of you have shown us through this process.

12/22/2023

We just wanted to say thank you for all the love and support. We are doing are best to remain positive, while making Jax as comfortable as possible. It has been difficult to hear over and over there are no treatments at this time and it's all up to Jax to keep fighting until Febuary. We are encouraging him to sleep and rest, in hopes of preserving as much of his strength as possible. We have accepted this will be a day by day journey and we are thankful for every additional moment we get. The house is as cozy as can be and santa ready, for Jax and his sisters.

Let's the festivities (we'll make it amazing)begin for Jax and his sisters! These moments will hold so much for our hearts 💕

It's been a long week. We apologize that we went slient. We were hoping after rushing Jax to Oakland's Children hospital on December 4th, We would have it all figured out to share with you all. However, that isn't the case. We really just have a lot of unanswered questions. What we know: Jax medical condition changed drastically around Thanksgiving, he has been sleeping away most of his days, he has no energy and is no longer keeping up with the busy of life. What we've learned: Jax has 2 new tumors in his brain and it appears the original tumor is now larger in size. Which has caused swelling in his brain and the location of the new tumors and swelling could be the cause of the new symptoms. Due to not being 6 months from his 1st round of radiation, round 2 is not an option at this time (until Febuary), as they want to allow his brain time to heal from round 1. Clinical trails don't seem highly suggested by his medical team. So we've been told to just make him comfortable and basically let it develop. At this time Jax is able to eat, drink and communicate. He's very sleepy and besides basic necessities to maintain, we let him sleep. We do not have answers to what, how, when and where. We basically have to take it one day at a time. We want to thank everyone for checking in and we will do our best to keep everyone up to date. We are hopefully Jax will fight and we'll be behind him all the way. The only hope we have is to remain positive and to encourage Jax he has an army behind him.

Today did not turn out with the planned birthday celebration we had in mind for our Jax. Today marks day 11 of Jax missing school, having no appetite, and him sleeping all day (like 20 hours a day). We let the worry send us to oaklands children hospital, just to make sure, as we can't see any signs of illness. We've learned illness and exposure to germs can look different now with his weakened immune system. But 11 days seems a bit long, even for my optimistic self. A CT scan was performed, which did not bring any answer, in a way we're thankful, the tumor is still where it was in November at the last check up, but we need to know what happening in his little body. So Jax and dad are going to stay at Oaklands children's hospital, until they figure something out. Please keep little man in your thoughts. He's slept through his entire birthday day, so he doesn't even know he missed it. But thankfully for him in this family we celebrate birth days all month long.

The last few months have been a hard wait!! We were so excited in August, when radiation was completed. Then to wait for insight on how treatment worked, weighed heavier then I think we ever could have anticipated. We did fairly well just living life as normally as possible. Thankfully the dreaded side effects they warned us about with radiation, never made an appearance! TODAY WAS THE LONG AWAITED DAY!!! TEST RESULTS WERE THAT 1% we have been claiming since day one. The tumor has reduced Immensely! This is an amazing result and a 1% outcome. We are so thankful for this outcome, and continue having belief that Jax will continue to beat DIPG. Thank you all for your continued love and support. We are headed to the drawing board for a fantastic celebration!! So keep an eye on the page!!

I'll make sure to share those awesome festivities! Thank you for all the continued prayers and support. No decline at all for our little man, he's just living his best life 💙

I hope we can get more of these stickers! Had to share, this one made it all the way to Hawaii! #1%we can fight this!

Update on today's appointment. We're learning that positive thinking is absolutely the only way to get through this adventure. The doctors noted his amazing energy, positive attitude and that we have not seen any decline in his physical ability at all. With those positives in mind they shared that the tumor looks larger, but that could be swelling from radiation. Therefore, they will bring him back the 2nd week of November for an additional MRI.

We're doing our best to stay calm, cool and collected before tomorrow's big doctor check up with some stress free coloring!

Hello friends!! Sorry we have been MIA! Life has been a bit Crazy! Lots of exciting things to share:

August 15th was Jax last day of round 1 of radiation. We have been on egg shells as we were told we would see the effect 2 weeks after treatment ended, but we have been blessed to see nothing more then his little patch of hair loss.

August 22nd Jamestown Elementary hosted the Drive-Thru Dinner Fundraiser . Unfortunately, we didn't get any pictures. But it was a great time!

August 23st was Jax and his sisters first day back to school. It took us a week and a half to get the flow of the schedules and get adjusted in sleep but by Thursday of this week we have it figured out.

Our next big doctors appointment will be September 12 to see how radiation treatments affected the tumor and what we need to do next. We're still hopefully we'll be in the 1% that gets a positive result.

Thank you for all your continued support, prayers and check ins. We appreciate every one of you.

Jax felt a little under the weather Thursday and Friday :-( He's back to normal now, but it was the first time during this adventure we might have panicked a little bit in our heads.

Jax, family and friends had an awesome adventure to the Oakland Zoo. 🐅🐯🐘🦒

The 5 day count down is on for the completion of radiation! Jax has done so amazing. We were blessed with being provided the medical care locally in Sonora at the cancer center.which allowed for Jax and his sisters to have a pretty normal summer. We will have a busy few days after completion of treatment, as the doctor will do testing to see the beginning results of radiation and where we will go from there. Keep praying for that 1% outcome!

Jax has had a busy last few days! We'll have a few posts to share all the good stuff he's got going on. His favorite news is he got to camp and got his Lemonade stand in before he has to go back to school! Jax got to spend 2 nights at Kennedy Meadows camping with family and friends. He got to explore Bridgeport and some awesome spots over there. Lastly and his most favorite, was he got to help put together a Lemonade stand with his friends. The fellow campers at Kennedys made it worth the 5 hours of work the kids put in! We heard him says it was the best day ever a few times.
