I loved attending Couture by the Shore with one of my Real Estate besties. Couture by the Shore raised $175K for the Outer Banks Outer Banks Relief Foundation, Inc.

Couture by the Shore is an annual luncheon, fashion show, and silent auction shopping experience to support the Outer Banks Relief Foundation's work.

The Outer Banks Relief Foundation is public charity to help meet local needs in Dare County and across all Outer Banks communities, from Corolla to Ocracoke Island. In 2004, a group of people on the Outer Banks raised money for leukemia research in honor of a local child battling the disease. This family became financially distressed during their crisis and they lost their home. The Relief Foundation was founded to prevent other local families from facing similar situations. Since that time, the Outer Banks Relief Foundation has provided $3.5 million of relief funding to 1,400 Outer Banks families in need. Some examples of what our clients are facing include cancer, serious blood or nerve disorders, spinal injuries, and multiple sclerosis. We work closely with the other charitable and helping organizations here on the Outer Bank and with regional, state and national organizations to coordinate and maximize support.
