Just got back from our mid year maintenance/house check. The Smiling Seahorse is doing well! Feedback so far has been very positive. I am a little shocked at how crowded the beach was this morning (see pictures). Hope the rest of the season continues to be great and renters make many great memories! PS..love our lifeguards. Thanks for keeping the beach safe in front of our house.

Ready for the season! New outdoor furniture, deck steps, pool table felt and a few more items. Very excited for the new outdoor shower! Can't wait for the pictures from inside.

Found this at my local swap meet today. It's a co****le game, that i think our renters will enjoy. Always looking for fun things for renters. Getting ready for 2024!

Wrapping up my week doing end of year maintenance to The Smiling Seahorse. I want to thank all renters this year. I hope you made many happy memories to last a life time. I also need to give a shout out to our PM Sun Reality. They have been a great partner and feedback has Indicated they help ensure our renters enjoy their time here. We are planning for the 2024 season and will have some exciting updates that will be posted soon. Thank you again and look forward to 2024 season!

Came down for mid season maintenence. The Smiling Sea Horse is doing well. We loved seeing our Southern Shores lifeguards on duty at our beach access. These guys do a great job in this sweltering heat! Btw...you can see how crowded our beaches get. Good thing we got there at 11am to claim our spot LOL!

We just received our first 2 bookings for 2024 season. Feedback so far for 2023 has been great. We are trying to see what exciting things we can do for 2024. So happy everyone has been having a great time and looking forward to finishing the season with many happy families.

After several weeks of prepping and cleaning, I think we are ready for the 2023 season. The swing came out great. Our daughter tested for hours and it’s one of her favorite places to sit. Watching the moon last night was amazing. It felt like it was watching over us and gave us the thumbs up 👍 that we were ready. We hope all our renters enjoy all the Smiling Sea Horse has to offer and many great memory’s are made this year.

Love the latest project and we hope our 2023 renters will like this too. New electric outlet and lights in the Gazebo! This isn't finished yet and probably wont be red, but love the way it looks. i'm sure there will be more improvements for 2023.

Just got two sets of these (4 chairs and 2 tables) . We are starting to purchase and make plans for 2023 guest. I think guests are going to enjoy these around the fire pit we installed in 2022. Love finding things for the house and for our guests to enjoy.

We received our first booking for 2023 and have started to prep for improvements including this new front porch swing. Excited to complete 2022 strong and plan for 2023. Thanks to all our renters so far that have enjoyed our house and treated it well. We hope to continue to improve to make every year enjoyable.

Getting ready for the season! Hope 2022 goes great and all our renters enjoys the property. One of the additions 2022. Please note…renters must bring their own propane tank.

Prep is underway for the 2022 season. We are excited to add anther larger grill and a few other surprises. We are doing all for our guests (we dont stay in the summer). Hope they like the additions and continue to get possitive feedback. Follow us to watch the progress.

Love watching the moon over the ocean from the house. Beach across from the house is beautiful in October. Btw…you’ll also notice the crumbl cookie box. my favorite cookie!!!

Beautiful night in Duck. October is a great time to be in Outer Banks. Our house is just three miles to the town of Duck and all the shops and restaurants.

2021 is off to a great start! We have gotten our first google review for the season (4 star)! Attached is a picture from a guest showing the beautiful beach today (They said the only ones they are competing with for space are sea crabs - lol). We have a QR code at the house and would love to hear stories of your stay with us and feedback. This will continue to allow us to offer a great vacation experience. Lasty...we are starting to book for 2022 already. Please inquire as we believe these dates will book quick.
