Yo, Aldi is out here trying to get the people together for the new year. This is an entire workout setup for under $80.
Still out here playing with the young bucks in an 18+ basketball league in Southfield, MI by Come Play Detroit. We came away with the W in the championship game.
It was a hard fought game on both sides. We had the lead most of the game while they made a good run with about 5 minutes left in the game.
This was a major leap for me playing with these young athletes. I feel blessed to be able to keep up and in some cases exceed expectations.
Message: You don’t know until you try.

Training your body to work at its most optimal levels is the goal. The outcome of those consistent actions over months and years is the slow transformation of your body. In this area hard work does pay off.
Once you have made up your mind you want to change nothing shall get in your way. Run through all excuses that prevent you from meal prepping, hitting your weekly gym quota, or spending time recovering, meditation, or stretching.
Find an accountability partner or a trainer that can assist in keeping you on track.
You are most import to you.
Let’s go!!!

Complete again at night for extra credit. 🤣 Well maybe 225. ✅
Although I haven’t been in the gym in months I’m not using that as an excuse to fall off. The push-ups, squats, and lunges are still going down using only bodyweight.
This pic was taking at Restore where I completed Red Light therapy and took a walk through the cold chamber at -160 degrees F.
Leading up to this I had been on a 12 hour fast to allow my digestive system to take a break. My thought process is to take advantage of all the technical advancements we have in relaxation, diet, and recovery.
My goal is to allow my body to function at its peak performance level for as long as possible.
Stay tuned for my upcoming Drone Bootcamps.
I don’t know if I can do this today, but I know for certain this was part of conditioning.
I was fortunate to have run Cross Country in HS which set the table for my long term stamina.
Pandemic life cut my hoop life by 90%. Ill have to change that.

This was my last weekend for my Drone Park Workouts at Palmer Park in the great city of Detroit.
I was happy to collab with the Detroit Pistons, City of Detroit, and Come Play Detroit on this project that spanned 5 parks in the city.
My goal was to show the community how they could effectively use the equipment and get a full body workout outside of the gym.
Often my clients were children from the age of 5-13 who were interested about how to get fit. One little girl’s story really moved me. She said her friends called her names and she wanted to change that.
I encouraged her to continue to come to the park with her friends and family. I wish this story was unique. Hopefully I made an impact with my brief time there.
Came across this video that gives a good overview of weight loss. We all look different at the same weight. Each of us had a unique journey.
Kaisa Keranen on Instagram: "Let’s just be honest… The “ideal” image of a healthy body is bu****it. We are all made different, therefore our bodies will all be different! And let’s just state the obvious while we’re at it… a smaller bod Kaisa Keranen shared a post on Instagram: "Let’s just be honest… The “ideal” image of a healthy body is bu****it. Clip from the Drone Park Workout at Palmer Park. It has become apparent that the children and youth are in the majority taking advantage of the outdoor equipment.
I’m learning once you set the bar and show them what can be done children will follow. Taking the time to explain exercises while being patient is key. The smiles on their faces is priceless.
I’ve made some tweaks to the timing in order to account for their learning curve, but that’s about it. They are doing the same amount of sets adults would complete.
Message: children replicate what they see. Provide positive examples and they will follow what suits them best.
Using a squat rack is a way to lift heavier weight without having to lift the entire weight from the floor.
Two important cues here are to keep your back straight with bowing it out. Secondly, you want to have your heels planted firmly on the floor to all all the weight to be focused on your quads.
The split squat you will notice my foot to the rear is slight elevated. This is to focus more weight on the front leg.
The pulsing movement adds an added level of stress to your muscles. This concept can be used on other heavy compound movements like the bench press.
I use every training opportunity to share what I know and motivate participants to be the best versions of themselves. This is not limited by age.
Today I had the opportunity to take these young people through a HIIT workout at Palmer Park.
At first I didn’t think I could run my normal routine, but with a little encouragement they met the task. I’m excited to see who will show up on Friday.
I’ll be out here on Friday’s and Sunday’s at 5pm. You don’t need any equipment for these workouts. If you are a pro at pull-ups I’d suggest bringing some gloves.
Big ups to the Detroit Pistons and the City of Detroit for putting this together for the community.
See you soon.

One of the frequent hurdles I hear is there isn’t enough time to workout. ⏲⌚️⏰
Prioritizing your health is the first step in starting your wellness journey. I am here to walk with you. 🚶♀️🚶🚶🏿♂️
And it’s about to go up again. If you haven’t noticed the routine we out CHEER every Saturday for the fit party we call Hollywood at 8:45 and 10:00am at F45 Training Highmeadow.
Yes, the 45 minute workouts during the week are still beast mode and you can burn up to 600 calories in one session. The difference about today is the class is 15 minutes longer which can translate into burning up to 300 more calories.
I know that seems insane, but we have the numbers to prove it. Check my stories for some the read outs from our members.
We had the ladies of the Southfield Delta Sigma Theta grad chapter in the house. As a part of their health initiative they chose to partner with on a private workout for their members. ♦️
It was a pleasure being able to coach some through the workout who thought they wouldn’t be able to do. At the end they all felt a since of accomplishment after completing a challenging workout. 💪🏽
The key in life is to outwork yourself. Do better than you did the day before or the set before. All competition is imaginary because all the work done to win must take place prior to the actual event.
Yes, you must either get up early or stay up late to do research on funding and financing or getting your reps in at the gym. There are some activities that will never be outsourced.
No one can eat for you or lift the weights for you. You must first make up your mind you want to be better. Then action MUST be taken to align with the change goal.
Of course I’m not saying anything you didn’t know already. What I’ve found it that this mantra must be said every day and sometimes every hour.
Now don’t take this out of context. Rest and recovery are just as important, but to get to those you must first put in the work.
If you don’t tap in with Trainer Drone please link with someone to hold you accountable to walk with you toward your goals.
I don’t know if I’ve stated this enough. The secondary reason I work out is the high I feel at the end of each workout. It is induced by the release of endorphins in my body. There are no outside chemicals needed to reach this plateau.
For me this feeling typically last for about two hours post workout. After that my mind takes over and I feel like anything I put my mind to I can accomplish. Nothing I will face during the day will be as hard as the workout I just completed.
If you want to capture that feeling tap in. It doesn’t matter your level of physical fitness. The key is to move your body every day. You don’t have to be an Olympic level athlete or playing professional sports. All you have to do is give your best effort. Make each set and each rep better than the last.

✅I have the ladies of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc, Blue Essence, and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc tapping in to elevate their fitness levels.
✅These are private class sessions outside of those with our members at F45 Highmeadow. I look forward to the energy levels these groups will bring.
✅We have partnerships with several businesses in downtown Farmington that would be ideal locations to host your group before or after the private session.
Let me know if you have a group of 10 or more you want to host a girls night out with or a team building exercise with corporate or social partners. 👀
