Thanking God for another year 😮‍💨
Making it through storms, tears, changes, and the rest I don’t even have to say cause we’ve all been through something this year! I’m grateful because since the last time I preached at Wayne Road Church of Christ, I had just placed membership to a different congregation trusting God in the process, was unbelievably sick FOR NEW YEARS (wth-sorry not sorry) and was insecure and stuck about singing growth and ministering at home (if you know you know).
No budge.
Then God said trust the process.
Now looking at the opportunities God continues to provide, the past year was about fully trusting God, jumping out the nest and flying on the wings He gifted me with no matter the altitude.
Thank God for the mentors that put the work in to train the ‘youngins’🤣 in and outside the pulpit but just so we can be better equipped for business and lifting up the next gen💯🙏🏼
I’d make a list but I’m tryna see a movie tonight haha, much love to the preachers, teachers, singers, and everyone who really made an impact.

Today, I’m taking a moment just to appreciate not only my granddad who’s passed on, but all of those men and women who have died in service. Also showing appreciation to all of those who are still at war fighting for our rights 🇺🇸
Thank you to those families for allowing these individuals to show their resilience and zeal for our freedom.

This time last year, I had the pleasure to enjoy all of the family & friends spotlighting the Metro Detroit Area, here’s to the NAACP Convention throwback 🇺🇸✊🏽

New members of Congress threatened by expulsion due to simplistic lack of knowledge acting out of decorum.  In this instance, there’s a lot of subjugation, because an elected official is speaking up on behalf of his constituents, and fighting for the lives, that we’re lost due to gun violence, only to be usurped by the fact that he spoke out of term and spoke up for the people.
It’s important to see where peoples perspectives and priorities lie. 

Whenever you’re in a line of work, speaking on behalf of those who don’t have a voice, there will always be those who will silence you for doing the right thing – only to find out doing the right thing goes against someone else’s personal objectives.
