It's the maximum sun protective rating achievable for fabrics. That means that only up to 1/50th or 2% of ultraviolet radiation is able to pe*****te this fabric. I really put this new rain-proof packable jacket to the test last week while hunting some common carp with cicadas. This packs down into the front pocket and I kept it in my bag. I was glad to have this on me when it decided to dump on us. I am pretty stoked how well it kept me dry. It passed the test so I think we’ll sell it 🤘
