The Collide Conference 2023!

There will be no youth December 21st or 28th. Enjoy the holiday with your family’s! See you back on January 4th!!

Next Wednesday, December 14th 6-8:30pm is our youth Christmas party!!

Youth can come dressed in their favorite festive holiday attire. We will also be having a white elephant gift exchange. We are setting the gift limit at $20. If you need help with bringing a gift, please contact Pastor Nick.

We have decided it is best to cancel youth for tonight. With the weather and what is forecasted, Pastor Nick and the team feel it’s best to keep everyone safe and off the roads.

Due to the snow we are postponing the youth car rally for this evening. There are still talks of the youth still gathering at church tonight. Keep your eyes peeled for further announcements!

Car Rally/Scavenger Hunt Event!!

Instead of our regularly scheduled youth night, on November 30th, we will be participating in an scavenger hunt competition!

Youth will be broken up into teams and paired with our leaders to see who can click, grab or get the most items on a list that will be revealed on that Wednesday. This will be a fun event for your youth to invite their friends to but please let us know ahead of time so we can plan for enough vehicles.

Our family is attending the annual NW Baptist Convention this week and most of our youth staff will be out of town as well. Due to this, we will not be having youth that Wednesday!

THE EXCHANGE: A 4-WEEK STUDY FROM 2 TIMOTHY ON WISDOM

SERIES OVERVIEW:

We all make exchanges — all the time, in fact! Whether you're shopping, texting your best friend, swapping snacks at the lunch table, or returning a wave to a neighbor, most of the exchanges we make aren't very memorable. But the exchanges that stick with us are the exchanges we have with people who impact our lives for the better. Maybe you've exchanged meaningful advice, wisdom, or encouragement with your friends, family members, heroes, coaches, pastors, or younger people you've invested in. Those exchanges are what this series is all about. In this four-week series from 2 Timothy, we'll explore some advice the apostle Paul gave to Timothy, a guy he was mentoring, because we can learn from Paul's wisdom too. Through it, we'll see how we can all exchange wisdom with each other (no matter our age) by helping each other discover our gifts, develop discernment, get equipped, and find strength.

Sometimes the idea of "faith" can feel a little mysterious and hard to grasp. After all, what is it? And how do you get it — or get more of it? Well, just like science can explain so many of the mysterious and hard-to-grasp things in the world around us, there are answers for many of the mysterious and hard-to-grasp things about faith, too. You'll learn in science class that "catalysts" are interactions that create big changes and transformations. In the same way, Scripture shows us certain change-making "catalysts" are necessary for the transformation of our faith and the faith of others. In this four-week series from Hebrews, we'll discover that faith is a catalyst for action, the faith of others can be a catalyst on our journey, Jesus is the catalyst for a new relationship with God, and we can be a catalyst for change.
