Great Poolee day today! First we did a practice CFT to prepare them for what they will experience in bootcamp, then a mixture of different workouts to increase fitness. Everyone is feeling strong and motivated!

Looking for those that want to better themselves, their community, and their country. Hashtags don’t make a difference but actions will!
"The Marine Corps Martial Arts Program (MCMAP) is a "whole Marine" program, which emphasizes the complete development of a professional warrior, and is a key component of the ethical warrior concept. MCMAP is designed to improve the warfighting capabilities of individual Marines and units, enhance Marines' self-confidence and esprit de corps, and foster the warrior ethos of the Corps. The focus will be on the personal development of each Marine in a team framework, using a standardized, trainable, and sustainable close combat system with three disciplines'; physical, mental and character. MCMAP is not a sport but a distinctively weapons based system, integrating combat equipment, tough realistic training, physical and mental challenges, shared adversity, combat conditioning and tactics typically found in the combat arena."
In 1982 President Reagan declared 14 August as "National Navajo Code Talkers Day". The day commemorates the pivotal contribution made by the Navajo Code Talkers who answered America’s call during World War II. The Navajo Code Talkers served in the Battle of Guadalcanal, on Iwo Jima, and in many other key battles using the Navajo language as a code during combat operations. This provided what has been noted as a deciding factor in the Pacific Theater of the war effort. Semper Fidelis.
