Our 5th Grade Celebration was today! A good time was had by all! 🧡💙🐾

Our Ponderosa 4th and 5th grade cast did a wonderful job with their production of Beauty and the Beast Jr. yesterday! We would like to give a great big thank you to all of the U-high students who helped us out backstage and helped with coaching! We love U-Drama! 🧡💙🐾

Our Ponderosa students learned all about arthropods this week in the library! The Burke Museum in Seattle sent us an incredible collection. Students observed and discussed each insect’s important role within their ecosystem.🧡💙🐾

Yesterday was our anual grad walk where high school seniors come back to their elementary roots and walk the halls one final time! Congrats to our 2024 Wildcat graduates!!!

Thank you to Mrs. Sanchez, for obtaining “The Burke Museum in a Box” for our school. Today, the second graders in Mrs. Collins’s class got to learn a little bit about how scientists classify fish and they got to observe some fish specimens!. 🐡 🐠 🐟🧡💙🐾

4C got to build spool racers to help build an understanding of potential and kinetic energy.🧡🐾💙

Mrs. Sanchez rented the fourth graders a “Burke Box” with artifacts related to Lewis and Clark and The Corps of Discovery. They absolutely loved the hands on experience! 🧡🐾💙

Our AMAZING Health and Fitness teacher, Ms. Murray, created a magical obstacle course as a reward for our second grade students meeting their Lexia goal challenge! She is all in for kids and learning all of the time!! We are SO lucky to have her! 🧡💙🐾
