Fitness wearables can be great tools, but they are just that, tools. They can motivate us and provide some good insight such as heart rate, exercise intensity, or (for some) arrhythmias. What they are bad at is accurately measuring distance and calorie burn. For some they can simulate a game and make getting more movement fun. For others, the numbers game can create an unhealthy obsession. Never rely on only one tool to get the job done.
100% me tonight, though to be fair, it was half a pizza…and Trader Joe’s thin crust…and it had veggies. 😂 Yes, health coaches eat pizza. No we are not perfect. Life in no way, shape, or form should be devoid of pleasures. It’s all about that balance babehhh. And I balanced it perfectly with a little ice cream afterwards. 🍻

Nearly half the price as salmon fillets, just as good. Now, I grew up in Montana, so I’ve eaten a lot of raindow trout in my day, and I feel like the flavor profile is quite similar to salmon. Plus, it’s super easy to cook. Bake them with a drizzle of olive oil, lemon pepper and rosemary, or garlic if you’re feeling spicy. I like to add potatoes and asparagus to this meal, but really any veggie and starchy carb will do! $6.99/lb, I think this particular bag cost us $5.80. has some gems ya’ll!
