The new rock garden is open

The little library is going so well that it's running low on adult books. If you're coming to browse, please check around the house and see if you have any books to donate. The childen and young adult sections are changing over rapidly. It's been wonderful!

Welcome to the Friendship Park Community Little Library. This is located a block and a 1/2 from the park, and is here for everyone to enjoy. It contains books for adults, young adults and children. It's also set up as an easy place to share produce from your garden. Behind the little library is a painted rock garden. This is for artists of all abilities to share their painted creations.

Library suggestions
Take a book, read it and return it.

This little library keeps running on the power of you. We will take all the books you want to bring. I have storage inside the home for the books. If there's no room in the library feel free to leave them on the porch.

Painted rock garden suggestions
Take a rock. Please only take one so we can keep the garden stocked.
Leave a painted rock.
Swaps are unlimited. If you bring 5 rocks, feel free to take 5 rocks. Or less, to help the garden grow. Please seal your rocks if you can.
You are highly encouraged to take any child painted rocks, as many as you want. This is to encourage the children that leave rocks that their art is appreciated and highly sought after. Feel free to keep these or hide them in another spot so other children can find them and treasure them.
